ASICS Global Digital is looking for a Sr. Manager Media Operations to lead our data driven digital media initiatives. The person in this role will be responsible for defining strategy and executing operational activities related to in-house digital media - including programmatic capabilities. This is a hands-on role responsible for strategy, optimization, reporting, training team members, coordination of technical resources, contract negotiation and aligning with stakeholder expectations.

The Media team is chartered with helping the global ASICS marketing organization become fully data driven by leveraging the powerful combination of Runkeeper and ASICS data and the underlying ad tech stack the solutions are being built on. The person in this role will also be tasked with researching and pursuing new in-house media tools, technology, and approaches to optimize the impact of paid digital advertising campaigns for ASICS and Runkeeper globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop digital media operations strategy that supports Runkeeper & ASICS paid digital media initiatives and positions us as an innovator in digital advertising 
  • Work closely with product team responsible for media solutions roadmap 
  • Ability to educate internal team on programmatic ad technology tools 
  • Implementation of digital advertising tools that best suit ASICS’ and Runkeeper’s needs
  • Develop plans, reporting, and insights based on results (i.e. A/B and creative variant testing, ad optimization, 3rd party lookalike audience models, etc)

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years experience with digital media operations and/or programmatic media buying
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting ad campaign reports and implementing optimizations 
  • Strong understanding of media buying and planning process
  • Knowledge of ad technology including RTB, ad networks, digital media, digital ad serving
  • Expertise in Google’s ad tech stack including DoubleClick Campaign Manager, DoubleClick Bid Manager, Ad Exchange and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Facebook Business tools, Ad Manager, and Instagram
  • Display proficiency in audience building and tag management tools (i.e. Oracle Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Krux and Tealium AudienceStream, etc)
  • Familiarity with digital media agencies (in-house or third party) 
  • Passion for and understanding of the digital space. Someone who has their finger on the pulse of social platform development, user behavior, and innovative technology integration.
