Orthopedic and Device Liaison
Department Overview
The clinical team at Wellframe works closely with all other Wellframe departments to create clinical tools, programs, and processes that help patients gain access to the knowledge and clinical expertise they need to manage their health needs at any given moment. Our team is made up of clinicians and communications and public health experts who enjoy working with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to solve tough health problems.
Position Overview
The Orthopedic and Device Liaison will be responsible for working together with the rest of the clinical team as well as client services to deliver on contracts for our implant and device customers, with heavy influence on orthopedics. This person will bet the primary point of contact for clinical program design and ongoing clinical issues for these customers. They will work with the Translation and Training Manager to ensure clinical programs are ready for multi-language deployments and coordinate clinical program updates to incorporate geographic variations in standards of clinical practice.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Extensive experience communicating with physicians and nurses about devices, implants, and orthopedics
- Familiarity with typical patient post-op recovery experience and monitoring over ensuing weeks
- Periods of frequent travel will be required
Ideal candidate
- Experience with patients; either direct interaction or development of patient-facing materials
- RN or NP preferred but will consider others if extensive experience working in a clinical context with providers
- Experience with patient-reported outcome measures
- Additional language fluencies a plus
- Prior experience with health technology products
- A self-starter who can manage his or her own daily workload, operate well under pressure, and balance competing priorities
- Boston-based or willing to relocate to Boston
