Office Manager (Boston)
We are an integrated, full service, marketing communications agency that delivers entrepreneurial solutions to our clients’ marketing challenges. We are looking to hire an inspired Office Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic creative team.
We expect the Office Manager to:
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily workflow of the office; keeping us moving at the pace of our business
- Opening/closing the office
- Cleanliness of the space with a focus on lobby, kitchen, conference rooms, supply rooms
- Coffee, tea and other kitchen supplies, as well as Thursday lunch
- Answering front desk calls
- Greeting front desk visitors
- Assist in meeting scheduling / conference room bookings as needed
- Ensure all technology is working
- Administer Recycling/Trash program
- Server Room maintenance / implementation of equipment
- Office Security contact
- Train and manage interns & temps on covering the front desk for lunch breaks and other periods where coverage is required
- Manage office supply inventory, management and ordering
- Manage business card ordering
- Mail sorting
- Required Competencies
- BA/BS degree is required in a related field
- At least 1 year of previous experience working in a fast-paced office setting is required
- The successful candidate will demonstrate an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic manner with a penchant for customer service
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, as well as demonstrated organization skills, are required;
- MS Office skills and Internet skills at an intermediate level are required
