Media Buyer - EPL, NFL, NHL

Responsibilities
As a Media Buyer for DraftKings you will own the customer acquisition strategy for emerging markets with a focus on EPL, NFL and NHL. This is an all-channel role where you will own the entire acquisition landscape and be responsible for planning and executing cross-channel, multi-device campaigns. You will be reporting to the Director of International Marketing and working very closely with Analytics, Product and other Marketing teams; you will be accountable for hitting acquisition targets, developing and communicating the strategy across the business and managing external provider relationships. Other duties include:
- Buy media against KPIs on Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Mobile Platforms
- Develop international strategy for the company across multiple channels;
- Plan and execute all digital campaigns on web, marketing database, social media and display advertising;
- Develop and execute a strong social media advertising presence;
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs);
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights;
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies to test new forms of digital media;
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests;
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience;
- Manage robust budgets around social media ad buying, making sure spend is optimized at all times;
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Skills and Capabilities
- Graduate with significant relevant experience
- Knowledge of the Daily Fantasy Sports market
- Experience managing 7 figure budgets for social media ad buying
- Demonstrable experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords, Facebook Campaigns, and other digital self-serve UI platforms
- Experience with Facebook/Twitter/YouTube Ads Platforms
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Mobile user acquisition experience a plus
- Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic.
- Passionate about sports
- Knowledge of Premier League and Champions League desirable
- Fluent German is a plus.
