DataRobot is looking for DevOps Engineers with expertise in Hadoop. You will work with other team members to build, maintain, troubleshoot and improve our Hadoop-based deployment and scaling processes. You will work with DevOps, Release Engineering, Test Automation and Development teams on automation of infrastructure and software release processes. You are expected to assist other team members on system and infrastructure related issues when necessary. You will participate in on-call rotation.

• 3+ years of experience with Hadoop-based infrastructure including automation for installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting
• 3+ years with large scale platforms and highly available architectures
• 3+ years with hands-on experience running a 24x7 production environments
• Good python programming skills
• Knowledge of configuration management tools, like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc; preferably with Ansible
• 3+ years of experience with Linux configuration and administration
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with systems and application performance tuning
• Experience with complex software packaging, delivery and maintenance
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, NTP, SNMP
• Expert knowledge working with cloud computing; preferably AWS
• Experience with database configuration and administration
• Experience with systems, network and application security and encryption
• Knowledge of agile development and continuous deployment
• Previous startup experience
• Bachelors in Computer Science, related field or equivalent demonstrable experience
