(Fall) Talent Attraction Co-op: June to December 2024

*Note: this role is for a fall co-op or post-grad internship from June to December*
This is a full-time opportunity (40 hours/week) based hybrid in our Needham, MA office
OVERVIEW:
Within this role you will assist our Early Talent Programs in various aspects of the recruiting lifecycle, such as: interview scheduling, onboarding new hires and special projects as needed. This position will be hybrid based out of our Needham, MA office.
In addition to gaining experience in the People & Culture department and developing a broad spectrum of skills, you will gain a strong understanding of the dynamic SharkNinja business and the Consumer Goods industry.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
Hiring Process
- Schedule candidate interviews during hiring season (Spring, Summer, Fall terms).
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the interview process.
- Address any impediments with technology/video interviews, changes to schedules, travel arrangements, etc.
People & Culture Exposure
- Learn about the different facets of the People & Culture organization at SharkNinja, which includes, but is not limited to: Recruitment, Recruitment Marketing, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Total Rewards, Operations.
New Hire Onboarding
- Submit background checks.
- Coordinate new hire activities with IT, Human Resources and Hiring Managers.
- Coordinate onboarding process for new hires to include Welcome Email and new hire gifts.
Special Projects
- Recruitment Marketing efforts.
- Generate ideas for social media.
- Assist with University hiring during busy season.
- Process department invoices, track expenses for VP’s budget.
- Work on other projects as needed.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- Current student majoring in Management (or a business-related field), Human Resources Management, or Psychology.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook 365, Microsoft Teams.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Ability to shift with changing priorities and stay organized.
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Interest in Recruitment, HR preferred.
