Title: Executive Assistant

Purpose and Scope: The Executive Assistant will play a central role in keeping the business operations and activities on track for members of our Executive Team. Candidates must have exceptional communications skills, be flexible yet thorough and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while working productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison, problem solver, and facilitator; as the first point of contact for the members of our Executive Team
  • Administrative tasks include managing complex schedule, calendar, heavy phone volume and email; making travel arrangements; submitting and tracking internal requests; coordinating meetings and group events; proofreading documents; and participating in key projects.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations, correspondence and memos.
  • Act as liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including senior-level management and board members.
  • Handling of confidential and non-routine information.
  • Office Management including vendor negotiation.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 5-8 years experience as an Executive Assistant in a fast-paced, high growth environment supporting C level executives.
  • Proven mastery of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Interest and experience in using technology to improve work efficiency
  • Interest and experience in interacting with all departments and levels within a company, as well as outside investors
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Experience in an ecommerce, start-up, retail or technology environment preferred
