Cognii's award winning Virtual Learning Assistant technology provides automated assessment of students' open-response answers and AI based virtual personalized tutoring that guides students towards conceptual mastery. As education moves online, assessment and feedback have been identified as the main challenges to making online education successful. Cognii team has developed the conversational AI and Natural Language Processing technologies optimized for the education market and has already shown successful market traction.

The engineering and research team works on natural language processing and machine learning technologies for educational assessments. You will have the opportunity to work with the experienced team towards developing compelling products and solutions for our growing customer demand.

We are looking for senior executives to grow the K-12, Higher Ed and Corporate Training businesses of Cognii, the leading provider of Artificial Intelligence powered educational technologies.

This position offers an opportunity to be in the driver's seat of scaling a rapidly growing business. You'll work directly with the company's founding management team to position, market and sell cutting edge edtech solutions to higher ed institutes and partners developing online programs. In addition to being responsible for selling activities, you'll develop sales and marketing materials, create and hone product offerings, refine pricing and design processes to scale the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies and campaigns for different segments of the higher education market
  • Execute on all aspects of sales - from prospecting to ongoing relationship management
  • Develop strategic partnerships and close direct sales
  • Be a key member of team developing and testing new product and service offerings, positioning, marketing and sales collateral
  • Put the processes in place that enable sales team to scale

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in sales-related roles in edtech or AI market
  • Knowledge of the education ecosystem and the problems in learning assessment
  • Familiarity with the K-12, higher ed, corporate training and professional education markets required, including knowledge of digital learning content and platform providers
  • Entrepreneurial – relish the challenge of taking an idea from concept to realization
  • Strong work ethic, track record of high productivity
  • Operate independently, attention to detail, strong follow-through
  • Creative, innovative, holistic thinker
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Team player who is excited by collaborating with and motivated to build a great business
