Account Executive
Join the LevelUp Team and work alongside other talented, driven individuals to help build the next generation of mobile payments. LevelUp, and our partner apps like Chase Pay, Yelp and more, send order ahead orders to restaurants. For restaurants, this means more order ahead volume, higher throughput and increased profitability. For consumers, we provide a convenient experience to order ahead anywhere. This team is all about reaching out to merchants to join our network, and reaching out to merchants on our network to use our rich backend tools to understand, engage and reward their customers.
LevelUp is used by more than 4MM customers paying at over 100,000 locations nationwide. Backed by Google Ventures, T-Ventures and Highland Capital, LevelUp powers the mobile experiences for top brands like JPMorgan Chase, Potbelly, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Equinox, Steak ‘N Shake, Dunn Bros Coffee, Argo Tea & sweetgreen.
Summary
By building quick rapport and using your assertiveness and confidence, you’ll educate restaurants on our network offering through product demonstrations and presentations, develop relationships with prospects and close co-marketing agreements with network partners. You should feel comfortable overcoming objections, finding creative solutions, have the desire to constantly learn and be willing to accept feedback along the way. LevelUp needs driven individuals who can adapt quickly as the restaurant technology industry evolves and we continue to grow. This is a full cycle individual contributor role with potential growth opportunity into a position on our enterprise sales team. You should be self-motivated to advance and willing to earn the responsibility to manage new challenges.
Having these skill and qualities would make you a great fit:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of inside sales, a full cycle sales role or relative sales experience
- Experience working with both inbound and outbound leads
- Hunter mentality with the ability to cold call
- Enjoy helping customers choose the best solution for their needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be capable of developing and tailoring custom messages to unique brands
- Ability to cultivate, manage and grow your pipeline using Salesforce.com
- Understand our competitive landscape and position LevelUp accordingly
Bonus Points:
- You’re a huge foodie and prefer the order ahead experience vs. waiting around in line
- You use the LevelUp app or some of our partner apps like sweetgreen or Potbelly
- You have worked for a technology sales company and/or have experience piloting new sales initiatives and go to market strategies
- Experience selling to restaurants or understanding restaurant operations is a plus
