The Mission: Humanizing the Identity Foundation of the AI Era
The Context Saviynt just secured $700M in a KKR-led funding round. We aren't just building software; we are building the invisible, essential bedrock of security for the AI revolution. But technical bedrock is cold—we need someone to make it human.
We are looking for an exceptional writer who doesn't just "generate content," but crafts a voice. Reporting to the Director of Content Marketing, you will be the architect of our brand sentiment, turning complex cybersecurity into a narrative that moves people.
What You’ll Do (The Impact)
- Define the Narrative: Take the lead on high-impact content that positions Saviynt not as a vendor, but as a vital, human-centric partner in an increasingly automated world.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate dense AI and cybersecurity concepts into "can’t-miss" narratives. You’ll strip away the jargon and find the heart of the story.
- Architect the Pipeline: Own the blog and long-form strategy. You’ll partner with Engineering and Product to turn "feature updates" into "brand legends."
- Pioneer New Formats: You aren't limited to whitepapers. You’ll launch original editorial series, research agendas, and social-native multimedia that breaks through the noise of the TAM.
- Guard the Soul of the Brand: You’ll evolve and protect the Saviynt style guide, ensuring that every word we publish—from a deep-dive report to a punchy tweet—feels like us.
What We Need You to Bring:
- A Master of Craft: You have 7+ years in journalism or content marketing. You know how to make a reader feel something, not just learn something.
- An Analytical Empath: You use data and market signals to find the "human hook." You see the person behind the persona.
- A Diplomatic Editor: You can take a room full of competing feedback from engineers and execs and weave it into a single, powerhouse message.
- A Jargon-Killer: You have a relentless commitment to sophisticated, differentiated work. If it sounds like a corporate brochure, you kill it.
- AI-Augmented, Human-Led: You are a pro at prompt engineering to speed up your workflow, but you have an unwavering commitment to 100% human-authored final work.
- You are obsessed with the "how" behind technology.
- You believe that "boring" is the biggest risk in cybersecurity.
- You are a constructive critic who makes every piece of writing better.
- You want to work at the speed of a $700M startup where your words actually move the needle.
You’ll Thrive Here If...
Ready to write the next chapter of the AI era? Let’s talk.
We don’t just want to see where you’ve worked; we want to see how you think and how you move an audience. Please include a link to your portfolio or attach three specific writing samples that demonstrate:
- Narrative Arc: A piece where you took a complex or "dry" topic and turned it into a compelling story.
- Emotional Resonance: Content that prioritized the reader’s experience and built genuine brand trust.
- Versatility: A mix of formats (e.g., a deep-dive long-form piece alongside a punchy, social-native series).
Note: We are looking for 100% human-authored work. While we value your ability to use AI tools for research and workflow, your samples should showcase your unique, authentic voice.
If required for this role, you will:
- Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
- Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to):
> Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy
> Incident Response Policy/Procedures
> Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures
> Mobile Device Policy
> Account Management Policy
> Access Control Policy
> Personnel Security Policy
> Privacy Policy
