Job Summary

The Workplace Project Manager supports the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of BRG's global workplace portfolio. This role leads office projects from initial planning through occupancy, including market surveys, site selection, scenario analysis, workplace planning, design, construction, furniture, technology, commissioning, and relocations.

The successful candidate is highly analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong ownership and judgment. They anticipate risks, solve problems, and move projects forward, applying the same rigor to budget, comparative, and scenario analyses in Excel, executive presentations in PowerPoint, construction document reviews, and stakeholder coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

BRG's Workplace team operates in a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where team members wear multiple hats. This role carries significant responsibility and visibility. It calls for a resourceful person who can navigate ambiguity, work closely with stakeholders, evaluate options, and execute effectively.

Travel required: 25-50% domestic and international.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery
  • Lead workplace projects from planning through occupancy, including expansions, relocations, and renovations.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, furniture vendors, technology providers, landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead procurement, including proposal reviews, bid evaluations, scope development, contract coordination, and vendor negotiations.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction, furniture installations, technology deployments, commissioning, move management, and closeout.
  • Review test fits, design drawings, construction documents, and construction progress to validate requirements, identify issues, and support decisions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives and workplace standards.
Analysis & Planning
  • Perform financial, occupancy, location, market survey, and scenario analyses using Excel and other business tools.
  • Analyze project alternatives, costs, schedules, risks, and business requirements, and develop data-driven recommendations with clear decision logic.
  • Support site selection, workplace planning, and space utilization analysis.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, project updates, business cases, and recommendation packages.
  •  Tailor communications to different audiences, including project teams, local office leaders, workplace leadership, and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project meetings, communicate project status, and drive accountability for action items.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, landlords, and brokers.
Workplace Program Support
  • Contribute to workplace standards, reporting, tools, and project delivery processes.
  • Support portfolio-wide projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-8+ years of experience in workplace, corporate real estate, architecture, construction, interior design, facilities, owner's representation, or related project management fields.
  • Experience managing commercial office projects from planning through completion.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, business case development, and decision support.
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills with experience developing executive-level presentations and visual communications.
  • Experience reviewing plans, specifications, drawings, schedules, budgets, and project documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (25-50%).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a multi-location corporate office portfolio.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with workplace planning, occupancy analysis, and space utilization.
  • Experience managing office relocations, expansions, workplace technology deployments, and construction projects.
  • Familiarity with furniture systems, audiovisual, security, workplace technology, and building systems.
  • PMP, LEED AP, NCIDQ, architectural, construction, or other relevant industry certifications.

Salary Range: $130,000-$180,000

Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.
