Your future team 

As a Workday Support Consultant, you will be joining our dedicated HR Application Management Team at ROCKWOOL Group, part of our global IT department. You’ll be working alongside five experienced Workday specialists who are passionate about optimizing and configuring Workday to support our HR strategy. As the team solely responsible for Workday across the ROCKWOOL Group, you’ll play a key role in shaping efficient, user-focused HR solutions that make a real impact across the organization. 

 

What you will be doing 

We are seeking a Workday Support Consultant to join our team and provide expert support across various Workday modules. As a dynamic organization our focus is around innovative ideas committed to utilizing technology to improve our HR processes whilst maintaining our Workday system. 

Specific areas of expertise must include: 

  • Working experience with at least Human Capital Management (HCM) 

  • Good understanding of Workday business processes. 

Knowledge of any other Workday modules would be advantageous but not essential. 

 

Also you will: 

  • Provide comprehensive support for Workday - solving incidents and service requests across the globe within agreed SLAs. Our functional areas include Absence, Time tracking, Performance Management, Compensation, Human Capital Management, Recruitment and Reporting. 

  • Build close working relationships with HR IS, Business Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts. 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve any system issues. 

  • Search for solutions and keep on top of new features using Workday Community. 

  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to ensure seamless operation of Workday processes. 

  • Manage documentation, change control, and traceability. 

  • Ensure relevant operational processes and procedures are documented and maintained. 

  • Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions. 

  • Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to immediate Manager. 

  • Participate and coordinate meetings when required. 

  • Assist and test modular data changes to Workday. 

  • Coordinate the RFC review and estimation process within the Team. 

  • Possibility to participate in Workday related business projects if required. 

  • Assist and test bi-annual release changes of What’s New features in Workday. 

  • As a Security Administrator troubleshoot and action Inbox tasks. 

 

What you bring 

We are looking for a colleague who proactively collaborates with others to achieve common goals, independently applies new information and ideas, and has excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

 

The ideal candidate: 

  • Min. 1 to 2 years of experience in a consulting or support role 

  • Advance command of English (C1 level is a must) 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives. 

  • Demonstrates commitment to achieve targets - and intervenes when results are threatened. 

  • Works with a creative and customer/ team centric mindset to turn blockers into options for win-win solutions.
