Job DescriptionThe Web Development Intern will work under the supervision of the Manager, Creative & Digital and the Senior Web Developer to support both front-end and back-end development initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in modern web technologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams, offering exposure to real-world digital transformation projects within ATPCO’s Marketing and IT environments.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end and back-end web applications and platforms, ensuring responsive design and seamless performance across devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, IT, and UX) to ensure web functionality aligns with overall business objectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues; optimize code and integrate third-party services where applicable.
- Regularly update site content and functionalities based on user feedback and stakeholder requirements.
- Assist in the redevelopment of MyATPCO into a new platform and framework, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of a large-scale web project.
Work with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, WordPress, and Sanity, among others.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree in Web Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
- Energetic, task-oriented, and creative, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Creative problem-solving ability with attention to detail and quality.
