We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Principal Business Insights Analyst to join our Wealth Management team. This role plays a critical part in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong technical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
This is a high‑visibility role that partners closely with business leaders, supports strategic initiatives, and helps shape the direction of our wealth management business through robust analytics and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities that inform business strategy.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver insights that support growth, client experience, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and present clear, data‑driven recommendations using compelling visualizations and structured narratives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, ensuring data insights align with organizational objectives and strategic priorities.
- Leverage data to evaluate profitability across business segments and impacts of proposed business strategies.
- Translate technical analyses into concise, actionable insights that are accessible to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Operate effectively in environments of ambiguity, using sound judgment to provide guidance even when information is incomplete.
- Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Uphold rigorous data governance, privacy standards, and compliance expectations across all work.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in business analytics or insights within financial services or wealth management.
- Proficiency in data extraction using SQL.
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning concepts, and analytical methodologies; Python experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in data visualization and storytelling using Tableau and PowerPoint.
- Strong conceptual thinking, quantitative reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting financial results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision‑makers.
- Ability to excel in a high‑performance environment with rapid turnaround times and shifting priorities.
- High degree of intellectual curiosity, initiative, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and evolving environment.
- Strong commitment to data accuracy, analytical rigor, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards.
Preferred Requirements;
Master’s or MBA preferred in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science, Math, Engineering, or Physical Sciences
Proficient with Salesforce / CRM Analytics a plus
Demonstrated job history stability

Work Schedule: M-F – 8:00 AM-5:00 PM ET
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $120K-$S160K per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
