The Vice President of Value Engineering is a senior leader responsible for driving revenue growth, client success and market differentiation by clearly demonstrating the business value of our SaaS products and services within the healthcare sector. This role emphasizes translating technical capabilities into measurable outcomes, building repeatable playbooks, and supporting consulting delivery with ROI-driven frameworks.
Reporting to the SVP and Managing Director of Strategic Consulting, the VP leads the Value Engineering function with a focus on creating scalable processes, enabling adoption through consulting partnerships, and supporting customer and partner strategies led by the broader organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Demonstrations
- Lead the design and delivery of ROI-driven product demonstrations and proof-of-value engagements tailored to client business cases in the healthcare market.
- Support Sales teams in positioning solutions effectively with clear business outcome alignment.
- Provide executive presence and domain expertise in key sales cycles.
Consulting Delivery Support
- Partner with consulting delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to implementation for healthcare clients.
- Provide value frameworks, ROI models, and best practices to maximize adoption and measurable client outcomes.
- Act as a bridge between solution positioning and long-term consulting engagement success.
Playbook & Process Development
- Develop scalable playbooks and frameworks to standardize demonstrations, ROI analysis, and value realization programs.
- Establish repeatable processes that enable global consistency and measurable impact.
- Define and track KPIs to measure the function’s contribution to revenue, adoption, and customer success.
Support of Customer & Partner Strategy
- Contribute to customer and partnership strategies led by Consulting and Sales by validating solution value and business outcomes for healthcare providers, payers, and strategic partners.
- Participate in customer advisory boards, partner forums, and industry events as a supporting executive voice.
- Capture customer and partner insights and translate them into actionable inputs for Product and Marketing.
Product & Marketing Alignment
- Collaborate with Product Management to ensure client feedback and market trends inform roadmap priorities.
- Partner with Marketing to develop case studies, value briefs, and sales enablement materials showcasing ROI and differentiation.
- Ensure new releases are operationalized into value-focused demonstrations and field-ready content.
Leadership & Strategy
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Value Engineering team with strong consultative and ROI-focused capabilities.
- Represent Value Engineering at the executive level, ensuring alignment with Consulting, Sales, Product, and Marketing.
- Support the SVP and Managing Director of Strategic Consulting in advancing customer and partner strategies through value-driven engagement.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of leadership in value engineering, solution engineering, pre-sales, or consulting within SaaS or enterprise technology, with experience in the healthcare sector required.
- Demonstrated success building scalable functions that focus on ROI and value realization.
- Strong track record of supporting customer and partner strategies in collaboration with Consulting and Sales.
- Executive presence with ability to simplify complex technology into clear financial and operational benefits.
- Experience driving alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Consulting to accelerate growth.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Additional Information:
MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $225,000 USD + 35% bonus opportunity. Please note that actual compensation for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
