Job Description Summary

‎ 

The Vice President, Total Rewards will lead the strategy, design, and delivery of Mosaic Health’s enterprise compensation and benefits programs. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this executive will bring Compensation and Benefits together under an integrated Total Rewards strategy that supports business performance, strengthens Mosaic Health’s ability to attract and retain critical talent, and advances the organization’s continued evolution as one integrated company.
Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, the Vice President will shape compensation, executive rewards, incentives, benefits strategy, market competitiveness, and rewards governance while driving greater consistency, scalability, and effectiveness across the enterprise. This leader will also oversee rewards harmonization, executive compensation, compensation planning, M&A integration, and the continued use of analytics, technology, automation, and AI to strengthen decision-making and employee experience.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, business-minded, and analytically rigorous Total Rewards executive who can influence at the highest levels, simplify complexity, lead through transformation, and build a high-performing, integrated Total Rewards function.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Develop and execute Mosaic Health’s enterprise Total Rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, executive rewards, and related programs.
  • Lead compensation strategy, including base pay, annual incentives, executive compensation, market benchmarking, salary structures, and job architecture.
  • Lead benefits strategy across health, welfare, retirement, and wellbeing programs, balancing market competitiveness, employee value, cost, and long-term sustainability.
  • Establish strong Total Rewards governance, decision rights, and consistent, market-based compensation practices.
  • Partner closely with the Chief People Officer, CEO, CFO, and other senior leaders on significant compensation and rewards decisions.
  • Support executive compensation governance and Human Capital/Compensation Committee activities.
  • Lead annual compensation planning and continue to strengthen compensation technology, analytics, and processes.
  • Develop and execute strategies to harmonize rewards programs across Mosaic Health while thoughtfully managing talent, cost, organizational, and employee impacts.
  • Lead Total Rewards due diligence and integration activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.
  • Leverage data, market intelligence, technology, automation, and AI to improve decision-making, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and integrate the Compensation and Benefits teams into a high-performing, enterprise-focused Total Rewards function.
  • Build scalable operating practices, controls, and processes that support Mosaic Health’s continued growth and evolution.

What You’ll Bring

 

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation, Benefits, or related HR leadership roles
  • Significant enterprise-level compensation experience, including incentive design, market benchmarking, salary structures, and compensation governance
  • Experience leading or providing significant strategic oversight of employee benefits programs
  • Demonstrated experience with executive compensation and supporting senior executive decision-making
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to connect rewards strategy and investments to business performance and talent outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to advise, influence, and constructively challenge senior executives on complex and sensitive issues
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to use market data, financial analysis, and workforce insights to develop recommendations and evaluate tradeoffs
  • Demonstrated success leading teams through organizational growth, transformation, and change
  • Experience working within a complex, multi-site, healthcare, services, or similarly distributed organization preferred
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and Total Rewards integration strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant professional certification preferred
