Role Summary
As the Senior Director of Total Rewards, you'll lead the design, development, and execution of the company's global Total Rewards strategy. You'll collaborate extensively to ensure our compensation and benefits programs are strategically aligned with business objectives, driving organizational success.

What You Will Do

  • Total Rewards Strategy: Champion a comprehensive global total rewards strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring competitiveness and compliance across 35+ countries and diverse markets.   
  • Executive Compensation: Coordinate analysis and review of executive compensation programs and assist with preparation of Board materials.  
  • Equity Management: Collaborate with the equity team to oversee and manage equity-based programs, ensuring their integration and alignment within the compensation design framework. 
  • Compensation Design: Lead the design, evaluation, and execution of compensation programs, including base pay, variable pay, equity program, and recognition initiatives, ensuring fairness and equity.  
  • Benefits Optimization: Lead the evaluation, optimization, and management of a diverse array of health, wellness, retirement, and other benefits programs to meet the evolving needs of our global workforce.  
  • Global Compliance: Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in various regions.  
  • Analytics and Insights: Utilize data analytics to assess the effectiveness of rewards programs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.  
  • HR Technology Systems: In conjunction with the IT department, manage strategy and optimization for HR technology systems including HRIS, ATS and LMS.
  • HR Operations: Oversees and helps execute global HR operations across multiple regions and countries.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Forge strategic partnerships with HR, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders, ensuring a cohesive alignment of total rewards programs with overarching business strategies and financial considerations.  
  • Vendor and Consultant Management: Strategically manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers to optimize the delivery of rewards programs.  
  • Communication and Education Strategy: Develop and execute robust communication strategies to educate and engage employees globally on the value and intricacies of our total rewards offerings.  

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, and benefits, particularly within complex global technology/software companies. Strong knowledge of global compensation practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends. Prior experience managing the following markets preferred: Canada, USA, UK, Germany and India. 
  • A demonstrated ability to navigate and manage equity programs, leveraging expertise gained from managing similar programs within private equity settings. 
  • Proven track record in crafting and executing successful total rewards strategies that drive organizational success. 
  • A demonstrated capacity to translate vision into tangible actions, adeptly manage multiple priorities, streamline operations, and foster constructive relationships, consistently achieving impactful results. 
  • Strong leadership acumen, capable of engaging diverse audiences, mobilizing teams, and instigating change across the organization. 
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, notably PowerPoint and Excel, facilitating effective communication and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, CompXL, or Survey management tools (PayFactors) is advantageous, showcasing a propensity for leveraging technology to optimize rewards strategies. 

In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $233,000 to $388,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional  compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.  A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
