About the Opportunity: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP, Strategic Partnerships to join our Strategic Growth Operations Team. This leader will be responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding strategic partnerships that accelerate growth, enhance customer value, and strengthen our position in the market. The ideal candidate combines a proven ability to drive revenue through partnerships with a strong understanding of the mortgage servicing industry and enterprise SaaS models. 


Your day-to-day at Sagent:

Partner Strategy & Growth: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy aligned with company growth objectives. 
  • Identify, prioritize, and negotiate strategic alliances that expand distribution, enhance product capabilities, or drive new customer acquisition.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with key partners, including banks, lenders, servicers, technology providers, and system integrators. 

Revenue Enablement & Execution: 

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to operationalize partnerships into measurable revenue and customer success outcomes. 
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and success metrics for each partnership, and drive accountability to performance targets. 
  • Create joint go-to-market plans with partners, including enablement, co-marketing, and co-selling initiatives. 

Customer & Market Impact: 

  • Leverage partnerships to deepen customer relationships, improve client retention, and unlock upsell and cross-sell opportunities. 
  • Stay closely aligned with Customer Success to ensure partnerships directly enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction. 
  • Maintain a strong external presence by representing Sagent at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements. 

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

  • Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team focused on strategic alliances and partner success. 
  • Act as a connector across Go-To-Market teams to ensure partnership initiatives are well-integrated into the broader customer lifecycle. 
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to executive leadership on partnership performance and strategic recommendations. 

We would love to hear from you if you have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Marketing, or related field with 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.  
  • 10+ years experience in Vendor and/or Partner Management. 
  • Deep understanding of the mortgage servicing ecosystem and SaaS business models.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels. 
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly. 
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 30%).
