Lead and develop the field team to deepen member and vendor relationships, identify mutual needs, design solutions, drive sustainable growth, represent the organization at events, partner with the CEO on strategy, and prepare as a succession path to CEO.
About the Role
We are a national buying group that connects integration firms with the vendors who supply them. Our work lives in the space between two sides — and our success depends entirely on both thriving. We're hiring a VP of Strategic Partnerships to lead that mission: a relationship-first executive who grows our community by understanding needs, connecting the right people, and solving problems before they surface.
This is not a traditional sales role. There is no quota to chase. Instead, you'll be measured by the health and growth of our group — the strength of our dealer relationships, the value our vendor partners realize, and the trust that holds it all together. If you think in relationships rather than transactions, this role was built for you.
The Opportunity
This is a seat on the executive leadership team and a deliberate succession path. Our intent is to develop the right person toward the CEO role over time. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with the organization, not just fill a position.
Your Contribution to ProSource:
- Lead and develop our field team, coaching them toward a consultative, partner-success mindset
- Deepen relationships across our integration-firm members and vendor partners
- Identify unmet needs on both sides and design solutions that create mutual value
- Facilitate natural, sustainable growth — connecting people, ideas, and opportunities
- Represent the organization at industry events and serve as a trusted face of our community
- Partner with the CEO on strategy, and prepare to carry it forward
Who You Are:
- A natural connector who builds trust quickly and keeps it
- Experienced in partnerships, business development, member relations, or partner engagement — ideally within a channel, association, buying group, or B2B community
- A strong listener and problem-solver who thinks in win-wins
- A developing leader ready for executive responsibility and an eventual top-seat path
- Comfortable with travel and in-person relationship building
Pro-Source's Contribution to You:
- $150k/yr-$170kyr
- Retirement Program (SEP = 7.26% of W2)
- Medical Insurance = 75% Paid!
- Dental/Vision Covered
- PTO is UNLIMITED
- 5 Paid Holidays
