The Opportunity

The VP, Sittercity and Enhanced Family Supports (EFS) is a senior strategic and operational leader responsible for shaping the vision, growth strategy, and operational excellence of Bright Horizons’ digital care marketplace and family support businesses. This VP will oversee end‑to‑end P&L management, product and platform strategy, service delivery, and cross‑functional execution to deliver seamless, high‑quality care solutions for families and differentiated value for employer clients. A core mandate of this role is to drive innovation, evolution, and thoughtful integration of the Sittercity marketplace with Enhanced Family Supports, creating a unified, modern care ecosystem. The VP will champion new ideas, modernize digital experiences, and develop connective tissue between products and services to unlock new value for families, providers, and employers.


Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Manager of cross‑functional departments, responsible for overall team supervision and leadership
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and HEART

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute a multi‑year strategy for Sittercity and Enhanced Family Supports
  • Lead the innovation, evolution, and strategic integration of the Sittercity marketplace and EFS offerings
  • Drive User engagement and utilization across the platforms
  • Set the product vision for a modern, intuitive care‑matching and support platform
  • Identify emerging opportunities across digital care, family well‑being, and employer benefits

P&L Ownership & Business Performance

  • Own full P&L accountability including revenue, margin, and unit economics
  • Establish and manage operational and financial KPIs
  • Build business cases for new product lines, technology investments, and service innovations

Product & Technology

  • Drive a cohesive roadmap across Sittercity and EFS
  • Improve platform matching efficiency, trust & safety, and user experience
  • Advance integration across Bright Horizons digital assets
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous product evolution

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee service delivery, caregiver onboarding, trust & safety, and client support
  • Implement scalable processes supporting quality and compliance
  • Ensure operational readiness for new offerings and integrations

Market & Partnership Development

  • Strengthen market positioning across care, well‑being, and employer benefits
  • Collaborate with Client Services, Client Relation, Product and Marketing
  • Represent the business externally as a thought leader

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leadership in marketplace, SaaS, or tech‑enabled services
  • P&L ownership experience
  • Track record in innovation or business integration initiatives
  • Strong strategic and operational leadership
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

Desired Qualifications 

  • Background in care, well‑being, or employer benefits
  • Experience in PE or growth environments
  • MBA or advanced degree

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting salary for this position is between $190,000-$220,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Sittercity in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for bonus awards.

Benefits:

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 120 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
