As the VP of Sales & Business Development, you will responsible for spearheading our sales efforts and growing early adoption of our products as we build into US market leadership in the new space of autonomous logistics. Leveraging your existing connections and leads, you will actively seek out new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key senior stakeholders in industries such as logistics, ports, airports, factories and warehousing.
Your expertise in solution selling and understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the supply chain management domain will be crucial in driving revenue growth and positioning Venti’s autonomous vehicle technology as the go-to solution in the market.
Role responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients in the supply chain management space, including logistics providers, ports, airports, and other relevant entities.
Identify and proactively pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your existing network and conducting market research to expand our customer base.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers, understanding their pain points and providing tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of our autonomous vehicle technology.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to develop customized proposals and address customer requirements.
Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating contracts and closing deals.
Meet and exceed sales targets, regularly reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue projections to the leadership team.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to identify strategies for gaining a competitive edge.
Required experience
Proven experience (15 years+) in a senior leadership role driving revenue growth in a hybrid/enterprise software and hardware business or similar space
Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and closing large-scale customerpartnerships with $5 million+ of annual revenues
Understanding of complex and challenging clients with the ability to engage at the C suite level and establish buy-in at all levels
Track record of leading the establishment and maintenance of partners and customers, and the building of revenues in new-economy technology-based products and services
Deep high-level contacts within the logistics or an affiliated industry globally (A strong network in the US is a MUST)
Knowledge of corporate partnership legal agreements, large negotiations, finding win-win operating structures, and working in long term partnerships with other companies
A reputation for honest, fair ,and financially sophisticated relationships with partners
Personal integrity, commitment to people -- demonstrated relationship builder, passion for 360 degree excellence, strong analytical capabilities
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for disruptive technologies and innovative business models
Deep familiarity with a high-tech R&D-heavy organization is a big plus
Ability to speak fluently one or more languages is very desirable
