The Company You’ll Join

At Rebuy, we're on a mission to revolutionize shopping with intelligent, personalized experiences that wow customers around the globe. As a fully remote team, we power some of the fastest growing DTC brands like Tecovas, Momofuku, Dime Beauty, Liquid Death, Magic Spoon, OLLY, and many more.

We believe in ownership, drive, and empathy and strongly uphold that every team member plays a vital role in shaping the future of intelligent commerce. Our culture thrives on collaboration, creativity, and genuine passion. We don’t just build great tech - we build lasting partnerships, a strong community, and a place where people love to work.

The Role

You own product vision and execution for rebuyengine.com and the Monetize commerce-media engine. You will lead the Product Owner and Design organizations, partner with the VP of Engineering on delivery, and partner with the CRO on all go-to-market strategies. You will reshape the product organization into pods (PO + Designer + 4–6 engineers) and set the API-first roadmap that defines how Rebuy serves both the human shopper and the agentic shopper on the same engine.

What You’ll Do:

  • Set and own the rebuyengine.com product roadmap — the API surface, the onsite UX, the Monetize media network

  • Lead and grow the Product Owner and Design teams; establish the pod model and operating rhythm

  • Partner with the VP of Engineering to ship the V2 "tools, not agents" API menu

  • Own product KPIs: net revenue retention, expansion, activation, time-to-value

  • Be the externally facing product voice — partners, customers, prospective acquirers

Who You Are

We're excited to meet you and get to learn more about you, your experience and your interest in joining our team.

The Hard Skills
  • 10+ years in product leadership; at least one tour scaling a $20M+ ARR SaaS product

  • Deep experience in ecommerce, Shopify ecosystem, or martech

  • API-first / developer-experience mindset — you've shipped products as APIs, not just UIs

  • Strong design partnership; you treat Design as a peer function, not a service org

  • Comfortable operating in an exit-process posture with discretion

  • Vast experience with data intensive products

The Soft Skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to break down complex problems into easy-to-understand concepts.

  • Be a leader by example

  • Someone who carries a positive attitude, loves to be a problem-solver, is naturally self-motivated, and passionate about ecommerce.

Who You’ll Meet With

Now let's get into who you'll meet during our interview process! After you submit your application and it's been reviewed by our team, we will reach out to you inviting you to meet with us. From there, you can expect an interview process similar to this:

  • Recruiter Screen (30 min) — Initial conversation to learn more about you and answer your questions about Rebuy and this role.

  • Hiring Manager interview (30-45 min) — High level conversation but more in depth about the role.

  • COO Interview (30min) - A high level conversation with the co-founder, COO.

  • Panel Interview (45-60 min) — Meet with members of the engineering team to chat more in depth about your experience.

  • Presentation (3-5 business days) — A project-based assessment to show us your vision.

  • Final Interviews (15 min each) — Short conversations with our CEO and COO where you'll get to learn more about Rebuy.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
