THE COMPANY
BinSentry is a rapidly growing AgTech company transforming the animal feed supply chain through sensor-enabled monitoring and data-driven operations optimization. The company’s proprietary hardware and software solutions help feed mills and animal producers drive significant operational efficiency. BinSentry is trusted by many of the largest players in North America’s feed and animal production industries and is poised to expand its product footprint and geographic reach over the next several years. The company is backed by Lead Edge Capital and other top-tier investors.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As BinSentry continues to scale, the company is seeking its first Vice President of Product to lead the strategic direction of the product portfolio and introduce best-in-class SaaS product practices to an organization with deep agricultural and hardware expertise. This is a high-impact leadership role that will report directly to the CEO and partner closely with the CTO, COO, and broader executive team. The VP of Product will shape the long-term product roadmap, identify new product opportunities, and ensure alignment between customer needs, market dynamics, and the company’s strategic growth vision.

This is an opportunity for an experienced product leader to help a hardware-enabled SaaS company move from product-market fit into its next phase of growth — launching new offerings, strengthening internal product processes, and linking strategy directly to commercial performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the product vision and long-term roadmap by translating customer needs, market trends, and internal capabilities into a focused strategy that drives growth and innovation
  • Act as a key member of the executive team, collaborating with the CEO, CTO, and others to prioritize initiatives and align product direction with business strategy
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and operations to scope, develop, and deliver product solutions that balance usability, scalability, and technical feasibility
  • Lead efforts to understand the full value chain — including upstream and downstream workflows before and after product use — to inform roadmap development and product positioning
  • Identify opportunities for new products and features that create meaningful differentiation and long-term customer value
  • Define and articulate how each product initiative supports the broader P&L and strategic priorities of the business
  • Guide the company through critical product decisions, bringing a software-native, outcome-focused perspective to a hardware-and-software business

EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles in B2B SaaS or hardware-enabled software businesses
  • Demonstrated success in setting product vision and building roadmaps that guide company strategy and drive material business outcomes
  • Experience developing new products from concept to launch — not just iterating on existing platforms
  • Brings a strong foundation in SaaS product management and has introduced best practices that complemented teams with deep industry or hardware expertise
  • Operated at the $10–25M ARR stage, ideally within PE-backed environments; has worked directly with executive teams and boards in fast-paced, performance-driven settings
  • Strong track record of linking product strategy to P&L impact — including revenue growth, cost efficiency, and long-term margin expansion
  • Experience working in AgTech software is a plus; must have demonstrated the ability to quickly learn and succeed in new, complex markets

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.
