We are looking for a talented, passionate, strategic and performance-oriented product marketing leader to help drive our innovation and advance the corporate purpose software category. As the VP Product Marketing, you play a strategic role leading our product marketing, pricing & packaging, channel marketing and client experience. Your team will support commercial readiness, helping define sales plays, markets and segments for our products, and collaborate cross-functionally on strategies and programs that achieve our revenue and market growth as you continue to shape a new category. You will be a key partner in ensuring product-level revenue goals are met. What you will do:
- Develop and execute product go-to-market strategies and launches and lead a collaborative GTM process to bring new solutions to market working with our Product, Marketing, Sales enablement, Sales and Client Success teams
- Create new opportunities for monetization from products and services, build the right messaging, positioning, support packaging and pricing, and work closely with cross-functional teams to take these to market effectively
- Refine and establish pricing and packaging strategies for all existing and new products including new product introductions, promotions, process approvals
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a competitive positioning and messaging for the delivery of Benevity’s innovation and business growth strategy
- Advise integrated programs and campaigns to generate sales pipeline for the business based on defined ideal customer profiles and their buyer journeys
- Direct and create modern and highly compelling education content and community experiences to increase client engagement and education
- Function as strategic voice of the product to provide competitive, product, market and branding knowledge for the marketing organization
- Develop high degree of market intimacy to help the organization anticipate trends and deliver engaging content
- Work with Sales Enablement to ensure development of effective product- and solutions-related training materials for Benevity-ites and clients
- Create excitement and pride among internal teams on new product-related developments and launches
- Lead and develop a talented team of marketers and create a culture of excellence, focus and excitement around our products
- Improve operations by establishing clear objectives and key results, aligned to business goals, tracking performance and deliverables to measure the team’s impact and manage its priorities and productivity
- Identify market and growth opportunities through market analysis, input from Sales and Client Success teams, client segmentation, and competitive intelligence to generate and share insights about our target audience’s needs, priorities, and challenges
What you will bring:
- 12-15 years of related product marketing and/or product management experience in B2B SaaS solutions, with at least 5 years of experience leading teams
- Experience working with B2B companies transforming to enterprise SaaS
- Ability to execute strategies, programs, and projects cross-functionally, on-time, and effectively
- Deep knowledge and experience with SaaS pricing and packaging strategy in a global B2B environment to drive revenue growth. AI pricing strategy desired.
- Demonstrated success in leading a portfolio of marketers in a high-growth environment, inclusive of client education, proposals, competitive intelligence, in addition to product marketing.
- Demonstrated success launching differentiated products, solutions and services in the B2B space
- Experience with new product introduction by market segmentation and different geographies
- Strategic planning, execution and measurement skills
- Great collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functionally with or without authority
- Excellent communication skills with audiences that vary across C-level executives, analysts, client champions, prospects, and throughout the Benevity organization
- Driven to understand and solve client needs with the ability to distill information into insights and effectively articulate concepts and align the organization to address them
- Results orientation and resourcefulness
- Organization skills, independent thinking and flexibility
- Experience in social impact is an asset
