Position Overview:
The Vice President, Paid Media works directly with senior team members to flawlessly execute the strategy built to meet client goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all current accounts and projects to ensure successful completion, while directly managing and executing key initiatives that require advanced expertise in performance marketing and e-commerce;
- Lead the integration and utilization of AI/ML-driven bidding strategies, budget pacing tools, and campaign automation systems to enhance performance at scale;
- Lead technical audits of client accounts to identify inefficiencies, underutilized features, and platform innovations across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Amazon, and programmatic platforms;
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to evolve internal reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and performance KPIs for real-time decision-making;
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the paid and performance business unit, including team structure, capabilities, processes, and workflows, to identify opportunities for improvement;
- Develop and implement an actionable operating plan that enhances processes, optimizes workflows, and aligns resourcing strategies with immediate and long-term business objectives;
- Provide consistent leadership and mentorship to the team, aligning their efforts with the company’s goals and fostering both their personal and professional growth;
- Regularly evaluate the team’s strengths, areas for development, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals, providing detailed feedback and recommendations for individual growth and role optimization;
- Drive initiatives to align the team’s operations with the company’s overall strategy, ensuring a unified approach to achieving business objectives;
- Collaborate on the definition of solution offerings, go-to-market strategies, and the paid business model to ensure alignment with long-term success goals while addressing any gaps in resources or capabilities;
- Develop and deliver a robust strategy and business plan, including recommended team structure, resourcing needs, capabilities, and budget allocations to support future growth and sustainability;
Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience predominantly in digital communications, paid marketing (Google, Bing, Social), project management, social media etc.;
- 5+ years of experience in people management and team development;
- Experience in developing and executing successful client programs;
- Direct experience with social media tools and platforms;
- Experience effectively delegating and implementing many tactical assignments and accurately judging and reviewing peers' work;
- Strong presentations skills, confident speaker, with the ability to tactfully manage client relations; balanced with an eagerness to learn and humility with your craft
