The Vice President of IT will oversee NOBULL’s information technology strategies and operations. This executive role requires a visionary leader who can align IT initiatives with business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and support the company's growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industry and a strong background in IT management, digital transformation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that support NOBULL’s business objectives and growth plans. Provide visionary leadership to the IT department, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead NOBULL’s digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of new technologies, systems, and processes to enhance the customer experience, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
  • Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including applications, business intelligence, infrastructure, integrations, security, and support. Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to meet the business's needs.
  • Oversee and scale existing business intelligence capabilities to support company growth objectives, including AI/ML.
  • Build and manage a high-performing IT team. Provide mentorship, development opportunities, and performance feedback to ensure the team’s success and growth.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company’s data and systems.
  • Collaborate with other senior leaders to align IT initiatives with business goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on IT projects, performance, and strategy.
  • Other duties as identified by senior leadership applicable to the role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in IT, 10+ years in IT management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and implementing innovative IT solutions.
  • Experience scaling data engineering and analytics capabilities in order to support the data science team
  • Experience managing and scaling enterprise systems that support a growing global supply chain
  • Experience in a NetSuite and Shopify environment a plus
  • Strong understanding of IT applications, business intelligence, infrastructure, security, and support.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Hands on and willing to roll up their sleeves.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to IT, e-commerce, and cybersecurity.
