The VP, Growth Success Manager (GSM) will serve as a specialist focusing on the retention and growth of Bank and Credit Union advisors in the field. In direct partnership with the Success Manager and the institutions’ leadership, the objective of this role will be to facilitate, educate, coach, and train advisors and their staff on the benefits of adopting the breadth of LPL’s offering to help them run more efficient practices, acquire new clients, deepen the wallet share of existing accounts and aid in retention of their existing client base through application of a comprehensive wealth management approach.

The VP, GSM is responsible for driving Net New Asset (NNA) growth for our advisors and the institutions they serve.  At LPL Financial, our stated mission is “to take care of our advisors so they can take care of their clients”. In line with this statement, the GSM is responsible for contributing to a culture and an environment where members of the team are empowered to live our mission statement. The GSM will provide guidance to assist the respective teammates in meeting their specific territory sales goals and is responsible for achieving the stated sales goals for the overall team.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner directly with the Institution Success Manager (ISM) on aiding in setting up and executing a strategic business plan with respect to all aspects of driving growth at the Institutional level
  • Spend 60-70% of the time in the field interacting with clients, averaging 16-20 face-to-face meetings per week
  • Increase same store sales across a broad-based territory comprised of designated institution advisors
  • Meet all sales goals and firm objectives for the assigned advisors
  • Leverage sponsor partners in the field to bring value added education to advisors in the form of small group workshops on topics ranging from practice management, business development, and investment related themes
  • Represent the outlook and themes of LPL Research in the field
  • Partner with IS Business Development teams to assist in recruiting
  • Leverage proven practices to help advisors run a more efficient practice, with coaching from Service and Technology subject matter experts
  • Participate in Home Office Visits, both home office based and those exported to the field.

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years’ experience in wealth management, preferably in a sales and/or client relationship management capacity
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
  • 5+ years' experience designing, launching, and leading new programs or initiatives from concept to successful execution

Pay Range:

$138,200-$230,400/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
