Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary and driven Vice President, Digital Product Owner to lead the transformation of how Stock Plan Services (SPS) Plan Sponsors interact with Plan Sponsor Webstation (PSW). This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of plan administration by delivering intuitive, scalable, and intelligent solutions that empower our clients with greater control, transparency, and confidence.

The Role

As a SPS Vice President, Digital Product Owner, also known as the Squad Leader, you blend Stock Plan expertise with a passion for delivering intuitive digital experiences resulting in heightened user satisfaction and driving client retention. In an agile format and structure, you will partner with other leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions and roadmaps, set the mission, and bring the squad together to execute on specific results and ensure respective products or services are available, stable, performant, and supported when required and related cost and maintenance is managed.

You will work in partnership with the Product Area Leader, team members, and chapter leaders. By role modeling and promoting agile and Fidelity leadership principles, you will promote and sustain an innovative agile culture.  

  • Defining, refining, and your team's mission to key business partners to empower and rally support 

  • Anticipating, discovering, and prioritizing client / partner needs to serve as the voice of the clients and guide execution of the squad 

  • Measuring performance through established critical metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and people results 

  • Inspecting and evaluating progress, and removing impediments for your squad 

  • Defining, presenting, and evaluating results against agreed acceptance criteria 

  • Making informed trade-off decisions to strike the right balance between quality, cost, and timelines 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Define and communicate a compelling product vision that reimagines the plan sponsor experience.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (engineering, design, operations, compliance) and external stakeholders (plan sponsors, consultants) to gather insights and translate them into actionable product requirements.

  • Backlog Ownership: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements, and user needs.

  • Innovation Leadership: Champion the use of new designs and concepts in digital user experiences.

  • End to End Delivery Oversight: Work closely with agile development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements across large scale initiative.

  • User Advocacy: Continuously advocate for the voice of the plan sponsor, ensuring the product delivers measurable value and a seamless user experience.

  • Metrics & Feedback: Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and iterate based on data and user feedback.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 15+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in financial services, benefits administration, and/or Equity Compensation.

  • Solid understanding of plan administration processes and regulatory considerations.

  • Proven track record of delivering large, complex, user-centric digital experiences in an agile environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and business partner management skills.

  • Experience with testing frameworks, automation tools, or validation platforms is a plus.

The Team

Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides companies with outstanding administration for their equity compensation programs, including stock option, restricted stock, employee stock purchase, stock appreciate and performance plans. SPS Product Development supports the business and technology work streams that deliver against approved initiatives including new products for emerging markets and improvements to existing products.  

The base salary range for this position is $123,000-$207,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
