RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data Strategy & Vision: Define and own Pager Health’s enterprise-wide data and reporting strategy. Establish a unified vision for how data is collected, governed, analyzed, and shared across the organization to support both internal decision-making and client-facing insights. Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, using data to identify opportunities to create, protect, and expand enterprise value across growth, efficiency, and client impact.
Shared Services Leadership: Build and lead a centralized Data and Reporting shared services function by bringing together existing data and reporting teams currently embedded across the organization. Create clarity around ownership, operating model, priorities, and standards while ensuring strong partnership with functional and product teams.
Internal Analytics & Reporting: Own enterprise-wide dashboards, KPIs, and measurement frameworks, ensuring a single source of truth for executive and functional decision-making. Ensure Pager Health uses data effectively to drive business performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. Develop scalable internal reporting frameworks and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights to executive leadership and functional teams.
Client-Facing Data & Insights: Oversee the development and delivery of high-impact, client-facing reporting and analytics that demonstrate the value, outcomes, and meaning of Pager Health’s services. Partner closely with Client Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure data storytelling supports growth, retention, and expansion.
Data Architecture & Governance: Partner with Engineering and Product to guide data architecture, tooling, and pipelines to ensure data quality, consistency, scalability, and security. Establish governance standards, definitions, and best practices to create trust in data across the organization.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Client Success, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align data initiatives with business goals. Translate complex data concepts into insights that are accessible to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Lead cross-functional alignment on what is measured, how it is measured, and why it matters, creating shared accountability for data quality and outcomes.
Team Development & Mentorship: Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to data leaders and individual contributors across analytics, reporting, and data engineering disciplines. Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
Prioritization & Delivery: Manage and prioritize a portfolio of internal and external data initiatives, balancing short-term reporting needs with long-term strategic investments. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, reliable insights.
Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement in data tooling, reporting automation, data literacy, and analytical rigor. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve self-service access, and increase the overall impact of data across Pager Health.
Innovation & Measurement: Stay current on data, analytics, and reporting trends within healthcare and technology. Introduce new approaches to measurement, visualization, and storytelling that elevate how Pager Health understands and communicates its impact.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roles, including leadership of multi-disciplinary data teams.
- Proven experience defining and executing an enterprise data strategy that supports both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Demonstrated success building or leading shared services or centralized data functions across complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and reporting tools, with the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience delivering client-facing analytics or reporting in a SaaS, healthcare, or services-oriented environment.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and narratives for executive, client, and operational audiences.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing without direct authority.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around a common data vision.
- Highly independent, strategic, and curious, with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated environments preferred, but not required.
For Colorado, Nevada, New York, and Washington DC-based employment: In accordance with the Pay Transparency laws the base salary range for this position is $250,000 to 275,000 The compensation package may include commissions, stock options, plus a range of medical, dental, vision, financial, generous PTO, stipends for professional development, and wellness benefits.
