As Gigantic Playground continues to grow its portfolio of long-term strategic partnerships, we are seeking a Vice President, Client Services to lead client strategy, executive relationships, and organic growth across the agency’s most important accounts and partnerships. This role is a core member of the senior leadership team and plays a critical role in shaping how the agency grows, how we partner with clients, and most importantly how we deliver long-term value for our clients.
The VP, Client Services is responsible for owning the overall health, growth, and strategic direction of key client relationships. This role combines executive-level client leadership, commercial responsibility, and team development, with a strong emphasis on strategic innovation, expansion, and enduring partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Own executive-level client relationships across Gigantic Playground’s most strategic accounts, and CourtAvenue network, serving as a trusted partner and advisor to senior client leadership
- Define and guide overall client strategy focused on innovation, long-term growth, and sustained partnership value
- Drive organic growth across key accounts by identifying expansion opportunities, shaping new initiatives, and converting strategy into revenue
- Partner closely with executive leadership, Operations, and Delivery teams to align client strategy with agency capabilities, capacity, and financial goals
- Build account leadership and client services teams, setting standards for excellence in client engagement, delivery collaboration, and relationship management
- Guide and approve Statements of Work (SOWs), renewals, and account expansions in partnership with operations and finance leadership
- Serve as senior escalation point for complex client issues, ensuring proactive resolution and long-term relationship strength
- Represent Gigantic Playground at the executive level with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Mentor and develop senior client leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, optimism, and growth-oriented thinking
- Help shape agency positioning, go-to-market strategy, and thought leadership in collaboration with marketing and executive leadership
Essential Skills & Capabilities
- Executive-level client leadership with the ability to influence, guide, and partner with senior stakeholders
- Proven track record of growing and sustaining large, complex client relationships within a creative technology or digital agency environment
- Strong commercial acumen with experience driving organic growth and long-term account expansion
- Deep understanding of innovation-led brand experiences across retail, entertainment, and global consumer electronics sectors remembering
- High-energy, positive leadership style that inspires trust, confidence, and momentum internally and externally
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort operating in boardroom and C-suite environments
- Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution and delivery realities
- Strong people leadership skills with experience building, mentoring, and scaling client-focused teams
Requirements
- 12–15+ years of experience in client services, account leadership, or related roles within a creative technology, digital, or experiential agency
- Significant experience leading executive-level client relationships and large, multi-disciplinary accounts
- Demonstrated success driving organic growth and long-term partnerships across complex client organizations
- Experience working closely with senior leaders across strategy, creative, technology, and operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth agency environment with senior-level accountability
- Ability to travel as needed to support key clients and partnerships
Work Location
- Gigantic Playground is a remote-first agency environment with team members located across the US.
- Candidates in San Diego, California will have the advantage of being close in proximity to several of our core team members.
- Candidates located in Orlando, FL, Chicago, IL, New York, NY or Seattle, WA will also be considered.
