Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency. We are a 300+ person team that has designed and built hundreds of digital products and experiences for brands like Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, Victoria’s Secret, MGM Resorts, Albertsons, and CLEAR.

As VP of Client Growth at Fueled, you’ll own the long-term health, retention, and growth of our client portfolio. This senior leadership role is for someone who sees client relationships as both an art and a business driver. You’ll lead the Client Growth organization, define how we partner with clients post-sale, and turn trust into measurable growth through renewals, scope expansion, and multi-year partnerships. As a member of the GTM Leadership Team, you’ll oversee key client relationships while building the team, playbook, and commercial discipline needed to turn strong client outcomes into a durable revenue engine.

Intentionally remote and globally distributed across six continents, our team thrives in a culture that values flexibility, creativity, and cutting-edge technology. Together, we’re shaping the future of digital experiences.

What you will do:
  • Establish strategic account practices and engagement standards that strengthen portfolio performance and client continuity.
  • Build and scale the commercial discipline, operating rhythms, and service models that drive sustainable Net Revenue Retention (NRR).
  • Develop senior client growth leaders capable of influencing executive stakeholders and leading complex enterprise relationships.
  • Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Delivery, and Practice Leadership to ensure account plans are profitable, scalable, and aligned to client outcomes.
  • Advance portfolio visibility and decision-making through clear forecasting, health metrics, renewal planning, and expansion pipeline management.
What you will achieve:
  • Grow and protect recurring revenue through stronger retention, account expansion, and long-term client investment.
  • Create a high-performing Client Growth function with clear accountability, strong talent development, and measurable commercial impact.
  • Contribute to greater client confidence and strategic alignment through proactive business reviews and executive engagement.
  • Advance operational efficiency and profitability by improving forecasting accuracy, pricing alignment, staffing plans, and margin management.
  • Lead the evolution of the agency’s client growth strategy by identifying emerging opportunities, reducing churn risk, and strengthening collaboration between New Business and Delivery teams.
About you:
  • You’re a builder by nature, with a track record of scaling client growth or account management organizations in agency, consulting, or professional services environments.
  • You have a strong commercial mindset and know how to turn trusted client relationships into sustainable business growth.
  • You are well-versed in commercial strategy, including pricing, scoping, contract negotiation, margin management, and portfolio forecasting.
  • You’re confident partnering with senior client stakeholders and executive teams, with the judgment to influence, challenge, and build trust at the highest levels.
  • You’re excited by building operational rigor and cross-functional alignment, knowing that sustainable growth comes from exceptional delivery, strong teams, and disciplined execution.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
