Job Summary
The Visual Content Specialist is responsible for developing, producing, and editing high-quality multimedia content that brings Nextech’s brand, products, and customer stories to life. This role creates a wide range of video assets, including, but not limited to, customer testimonials, product demos, event footage, launch videos, sizzle reels, and internal/executive content. They ensure all visuals align with Nextech’s strategic priorities and brand identity.
The Visual Content Specialist will collaborate closely with Corporate Communications, Product, Design, and Marketing teams to transform complex healthcare topics into engaging, modern, and accessible visual stories. This role also supports on-site filming at key events (annual user conference, national sales meeting, trade shows) and may assist with podcast recording and production.

Essential Functions
- Produce, shoot, and edit multimedia content including customer videos, product demos, testimonials, executive interviews, marketing campaign assets, and more
- Plan and execute video projects from concept to completion, in collaboration with marketing team, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, sound, and delivery.
- Capture on-site videos at events.
- Develop creative approaches to simplify and visualize complex healthcare and technology concepts in engaging, on-brand ways.
- Create compelling sizzle reels, highlight videos, and promotional content to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and internal initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Brand, and Demand Generation on video strategy and execution.
- Ensure video content adheres to Nextech brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Properly manage and maintain equipment: camera, lighting, sound, support accessories, computer/laptop, external hard drives, etc.
- Meticulous file organization: properly save and back up all working/editable files, purchased footage/sound files, and final deliverables in team-accessible location.
- Provide creative direction and proactively recommend new formats, storytelling opportunities, and visual approaches.
- Support podcast production, including recording, audio cleanup, editing, and promotional video cuts
Minimum Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in video production, multimedia content creation, or a related field.
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, or similar.
- Experience filming interviews, product demos, and event-style footage.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing content for healthcare, B2B SaaS, or similar technical industries.
- Experience producing podcasts (audio/video).
- Experience with motion graphics or animation.
- Experience building or maintaining a consistent visual brand identity.
- Experience capturing content at conference or live events.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Remote work
- Travel will be expected to events, tradeshows, and onsite customer shoots.
- Activities require a significant amount of work in front of a computer monitor.
- Need to be capable of transport/assembly/disassembly of camera equipment, lighting, sound, and other accessories needed for capturing video footage
