About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Long-Form Video Editor to join our Brand & Media team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of long-form video projects, and a familiarity (or curiosity) of the crypto industry.

You will be responsible for editing long-form interviews, ensuring final products align with our brand voice and quality standards, and collaborating with other members of the media team to maximize the impact of our long-form content.

This is primarily a creative production role that will require attention to detail, quick turnarounds, and a willingness to consistently strive towards content excellence.

What You'll Do

➢ Long-form Editing: Edit and produce high-quality long-form videos, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and visually appealing.

➢ Collaboration: Work closely with other employees at The Block to understand the contextual background of each longform video.

➢ Brand Adherence: Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel.

➢ Audience Growth: Grow high-quality, crypto-interested followers through consistent content, and drive engagement across channels.

➢ Channel Optimization: Optimize videos for various platforms, including YouTube, X, and podcasting platforms.

➢ Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and crypto industry developments to incorporate relevant content and techniques.

➢ Feedback Loop: Provide creative input and suggestions to enhance the quality and impact of our video content.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who has:
2+ years of experience as a Long-Form Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency editing long-form videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
Ability to seamlessly integrate After Effects and Premiere workflows to create polished, cohesive videos.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal — comfortable in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Bonus if You Have:
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects.
Experience in creating crypto-focused content or working within the crypto industry.
Familiarity with AI-driven social tools or community loyalty programs.
Background in journalism, editorial, or creative production.

What Success Looks Like

After 3–6 months in this role, you will have:
Fully integrated yourself into The Block’s media production workflow
Produced captivating long-form content that helped drive brand awareness and audience growth.
➢ Collaborated with other members of the media team to ensure our content is distributed broadly across multiple channels.
