The Video Editor will produce engaging video content for various platforms, collaborating with the content team and adhering to quality standards to enhance the company's storytelling.
We are seeking a creative, driven, and organized individual to be the visual voice of our company. This all-star will be trusted and empowered to edit entertaining, compelling, and engaging videos about our product verticals (Business, LLCs, C Corps, Bookkeeping and Taxes).
Your primary focus will be video editing for our content platforms to continue accelerating our reach to the next level. You'll also have a direct hand on content projects across various formats, including but not limited to social, audio, interactive digital, video, events and more!
We're looking for a creative story teller that has a great eye for design.

Responsiblities
- Responsible for producing and refining The Company University’s educational video content
- Produce a minimum of 3 long-form videos and 6 short videos weekly for The Company’s social media platforms
- Create and edit short-form video content for social ads
- Work closely with content team to understand the creative vision, meet project goals, and achieve team OKRs
- Adhere to the content team’s guidelines to maintain quality standards
- Apply expertise in sounds design, color correction, and transitions to enhance visual storytelling
- Maintain knowledge of various aspect ratios and optimal video export settings for diverse platforms
- Understand and utilize editing principles to ensure quality results
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing to keep our content fresh and engaging
- Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspect of video production
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience with video editing software and techniques
- Strong understanding of video production
- Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various team members
