About the job

The User Experience Content team contributes to Fidelity.com, NetBenefits.com, our flagship mobile app, and other digital platforms that help users access and manage workplace benefits. These are among the most heavily trafficked financial services websites and mobile applications in the world. This team’s strength lies in its ability to view the experience holistically and connect customers with the right Fidelity products and services.

As Vice President of User Experience Content Strategy, you will be responsible for shaping compelling digital experiences by designing and driving content strategies across Fidelity’s digital channels. As a key member of the Creative & Content team, you’ll lead a group of User Experience Writers and Content Strategists supporting Investing, Trading, and Wealth Planning experiences. Your team will craft intuitive, instructional, and conversational content that empowers customers to plan and invest for their futures. You’ll ensure that experiences across Fidelity.com and the Fidelity mobile app are customer-centric, clear, and easy to use.

You’ll play a pivotal role in leading end-to-end communication strategies, ensuring consistent use of brand voice and tone, driving personalization, and advocating for the thoughtful integration of artificial intelligence. You’ll act as a connector between designers, technologists, marketers, and business leaders to foster innovation and deliver best-in-class digital experiences that build customer confidence.

Through clear and persuasive communication—both verbal and visual—you’ll present ideas and share the data-driven rationale behind content design decisions. You’ll collaborate with Product Area Leads and the Head of User Experience Content to manage prioritization, staffing, and coordinate multiple projects across the company.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to earn trust from peers and executives in a complex, matrixed organization.

  • Collaborative mindset with experience partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to brainstorm and develop concepts.

  • Active contributor to the design process, with the ability to lead testing and customer validation efforts.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
