Position Purpose: Responsible for working with regional and corporate personnel to identify, build and implement business strategies that support HN's provider network and product development initiatives. This position works closely with other departments to facilitate process improvement and other strategic initiatives.

  • Directs and supervises staff in the development and implementation of Strategic Provider Partnership Initiatives.
  • Develops, recommends and implements cross-functional plans and activities to achieve strategic initiatives; communicates insights, progress of challenges and presents resolution scenarios.
  • Tracks/reports status on strategic partnerships, risk adjustment, tailored network development and other activities to leadership teams.
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships with cross-functional leaders and teams in order to identify, explore, present and implement business opportunities.
  • Maintains a service-oriented atmosphere within the Network Management department.
  • Ensures that team’s activities and business operations are carried out in compliance with company policies, and local, state and federal regulations and internal requirements.
  • Responsible for associates’ work climate and provides leadership for initiatives to make the department a great place to work.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business or health related field required; MBA preferred.
Minimum ten years managed care experience in a health plan, MSO or provider managed care department.

Pay Range: $182,100.00 - $345,600.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
