VP of Sales — Hezky.ai

Location: Remote (US) | Beverly, MA HQ

Compensation: Commission + Equity (No Base) | Uncapped OTE $400K–$900K+

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

───────────────────────────────────────

THE OPPORTUNITY Hezky.ai is a Delaware-incorporated enterprise IoT company building the next generation of environmental monitoring for healthcare and pharmaceutical operations. Our LoRaWAN-based temperature and humidity monitoring platform pairs with compliance automation — NIST-traceable calibration tracking, CAPA workflow integration, and audit-ready reporting — to solve a problem that costs hospitals and pharma operators millions in spoiled inventory, failed audits, and manual compliance overhead. We've built the product, structured channel partnerships with healthcare-focused VARs, and identified cold chain and pharmaceutical storage as our wedge market. We need a sales leader who can turn pipeline into closed revenue and own the GTM motion end-to-end. This is not a salaried role. This is a high-ownership, high-upside opportunity for a sales leader who believes in building equity wealth and is confident in their ability to close enterprise healthcare deals.

───────────────────────────────────────

WHAT YOU'LL OWN - Direct enterprise sales into hospital systems, specialty pharmacies, biotech, and pharmaceutical operators - Channel partner enablement and revenue acceleration through our existing VAR relationships - Sales process, CRM hygiene, forecasting, and pipeline reporting to the executive team - Building and eventually leading a sales team as revenue scales - Owning the number: $1.5M TCV Year 1, scaling from there

───────────────────────────────────────

COMPENSATION Cash - 18% commission on TCV at quota - Accelerators to 25–30% above quota (uncapped) - Payment: 50% on signed contract, 50% on first invoice paid Equity - 1.5%–3.0% equity grant, 4-year vest with 1-year cliff - Single-trigger acceleration on acquisition for vested portion At-quota earnings: ~$270K cash + meaningful equity stake Top performer earnings: $600K–$900K+ cash + equity upside ───────────────────────────────────────

WHO YOU ARE - 7+ years enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years selling into healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industries - Track record of personally closing $1M+ in annual TCV at prior companies - Comfortable with commission-only structures and the cash flow discipline they require - You've sold IoT, environmental monitoring, cold chain, lab informatics, or compliance software — or something equally technical into similar buyers - You understand the buying process inside hospitals and pharma: GPOs, IT security review, biomedical engineering, quality and compliance stakeholders - You're a builder, not a maintainer. You want equity, not a paycheck. ───────────────────────────────────────

BONUS POINTS - Existing relationships with hospital ops directors, pharmacy directors, biotech facility managers, or quality/compliance leaders - Channel sales experience with healthcare IT VARs or biomedical service companies - Prior early-stage or founding sales experience at a Series Seed–B company

───────────────────────────────────────

HOW TO APPLY Send a note to [email protected] with: 1. Your three largest closed deals (company, TCV, sales cycle length — ranges are fine, no NDAs broken) 2. Why commission-only works for your current life situation 3. Your hypothesis on why Hezky wins in healthcare environmental monitoring We move fast. Strong candidates will have a first conversation within 48 hours.

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
