About the job

Enformion is seeking a Vice President, Sales, who will be responsible for two sales teams totaling approximately ten people. The role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive significant revenue growth within our portfolio of high-value key accounts in addition to selling to new, high-value prospects. You will lead a team focused on building and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue potential within these critical accounts. In addition, you will oversee a team of hunters targeting the largest logos across multiple markets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or key account management.
  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably managing teams focused on high-value accounts.
  • Proven track record of achieving significant revenue growth within key accounts.
  • Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and strategic account management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with accounts with very large annual spends.
  • Experience in the public-record data or regulated data industries highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build and scale key account sales teams.
  • Experience with solution based or consultative selling.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Results
    • Own the quota for the combined sales teams, including the conversion of deals into revenue.
    • Own the generation of sales leads to drive pipeline growth.
    • Develop and manage sales forecasts and targets for key accounts.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records within the CRM.
  • Key Member of the Leadership Team
    • Responsible for collaborating on and then aligning activities around the corporate Sales, Product & Marketing strategy.
    • Implement tactics within the sales teams that generates new leads, drives significant revenue growth, and maximizes customer lifetime value.
    • Provide sales forecasting and reports to senior leadership.
  • Sales Leadership and Team Development:
    • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team of key account managers.
    • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • New-Logo Sales:
    • Lead the specialized sales team that drives customer adoption, utilization, and sales of Enformion products.
    • Mentor, support, grow, and motivate teams towards exceeding targets, while collaborating effectively with the wider sales team as well as various internal stakeholders.
    • Represent Enformion’s at relevant industry events, conferences, to build awareness of our products
  • Strategic Account Management:
    • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key accounts with an average annual spend of $250k+, focusing on long-term growth and partnership.
    • Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers within these accounts.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand Enformion's footprint within these strategic partnerships.
