Summary:

The Vice President, Product Operations will lead critical operational departments within an enterprise performance management (EPM) framework to drive innovation, efficiency, effectiveness, and optimal cost management. Critical to this focus is the hiring, leadership, and development of a team of world-class contributors who are collaborative, respectful, multi-dimensional, and at the same time who are subject matter and technical experts in their fields. This executive will not only have an operational excellence focus but will also contribute to a robust support of sales, account management, marketing, and other Go-To-Market (GTM) activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following, as other strategic projects may be assigned.

Product Operations Strategy: Creates the vision, the operational execution strategy, and the continuous innovation plan for the products and services that are operationalized by Buzz Integrations. Leverages prior industry knowledge and expertise to advocate for enhancements to existing and new product concepts and services. Ensures that the teams have operational flexibility and leverage to scale processes and procedures and to undertake new strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Staff Development: Leads critical operational departments in execution of company strategy. Ensures that individuals are supported, developed, and groomed for increasing responsibilities and growth, as appropriate. Ensures that the teams are sufficiently staffed, aligned to strategic imperatives, and operates within the EPM framework. Builds and manages a high-performing product operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and performance.

Account Management: Operationalizes an Account Management department to ensure a strategic focus on managing key clients and relationships to protect top-line revenue and enhance cost savings opportunities. Ensures that the team properly adopts the usage of a CRM tool to capture longitudinal information and history of client interactions. Prepares to transition Account Management to new leadership at an appropriate time in the future (TBD), if necessary.

Pharmacy Network Operations: Develops and staffs the pharmacy network operations team to support our operational execution with our pharmacy partners and monitors market trends impacting the pharmacy industry. Oversees the daily operations of pharmacy networks, ensuring efficient workflow, compliance, and optimal patient care.

Implementation and Operations: Develops staff to intake and onboard new clients flawlessly, efficiently, and effectively resulting in superior client experience. Additionally creates new product support concepts to handle questions and complaints coming from our clients and/or members/patients. Focuses future team on continuous quality improvement and ensures superior client and member experience throughout our relationship lifecycle.

Market Intelligence: Provides market intelligence feedback to Marketing and leadership from the day-today interactions with clients, prospective clients, and members/patients. Assesses feedback and provides opportunities for product and service enhancements to keep Buzz Integrations at the forefront of innovation and competitive leadership.

Partnerships & GTM Alignment: Collaborate with product/product operations, sales, and account management to align go-to-market (GTM) strategies and maximize impact.

Budget Management: Own the Product Operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and clear ROI tracking.

Continuous Quality Improvement: Incrementally identifies and implements opportunities to enhance efficiencies, execution effectiveness, and optimize cost management to continuously focus on Product Operation’s value to the enterprise. Continuously refines monitoring, ticketing, and reporting processes to improve team efficiency. Enhances project delivery by introducing best practices for Agile and technical project management. Performs post-mortem reviews of major marketing activities for lessons learned.

Culture: Facilitates programs to foster the Buzz Integrations culture and ensures that the culture is recognized as a competitive advantage.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintains detailed project documentation, including requirements, test results, and audit evidence. Provides regular updates to leadership on progress, KPIs, and technical metrics.


Minimum Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, operations management, or related field.

● 10+ combined years of progressive experiences in sales, account management, product support, and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

● Proven track record in product sales, product support, operations and account management.

● Exceptional analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.

● Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

● Experience with CRM, operational planning, and performance analytics platforms.


Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in healthcare, Pharmacy Benefits Management, or related industry.

● Data-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and customer focus.

● MBA, preferred


Working Hours

This is an exempt level position requiring one to work the hours needed to get the job done. Therefore, one must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or onholidays as required. This may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical corebusiness hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. 


Travel 

This position may require domestic travel as well as attendance at various local conferences and meetings.
