We are looking for an elite product marketing leader to own how Checkmarx’s platform and agentic application security solutions are strategically positioned in the market. Reporting to the CMO and partnering closely across marketing, product management, and sales, this high profile, vision-setting leadership role will oversee the marketing strategy as new solutions are brought to market, driving teams to capture market mindshare and lead a category defining evolution. You will enable sales teams with high-impact tools, leverage market insights to inform strategy, and ensure cross-functional alignment to deliver consistent messaging and execution across all touchpoints.

Your Impact

  • Own the global messaging architecture for Checkmarx One, acting as the primary visionary responsible for defining, simplifying, and articulating the market’s evolution towards agentic application security.
  • Position Checkmarx as the undisputed leader in AppSec, ensuring our platform positioning continues to shift and lead the industry narrative, dominate analyst evaluations, and wins executive-level mindshare.
  • Analyze shifting market demands, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to influence packaging, pricing models, and overall GTM priorities.
  • Master our key buyer personas and collaborate deeply with global sales leadership to deploy high-velocity sales plays and technical enablement.
  • Champion an AI-first culture across your product marketing workflows, utilizing advanced automation and AI tools to accelerate content generation, scale enablement assets, and optimize growth marketing execution.
  • Partner closely with your team members to develop, track, and evaluate product launch plans and key campaigns to hit pipeline and growth targets.
  • Track the performance of platform and marketing initiatives, analyze adoption and effectiveness by region, product line, and customer segment, and optimize strategy based on real-world data


Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise marketing, including a strong, demonstrated track record of leading high-performing product marketing teams in application security, DevOps, DevSecOps, or software supply chain management.
  • Deep experience creating product messaging in a technical product environment, with the ability to work with product management and sales to position complex products to developers, security teams, and CISOs
  • Key contributor to platform strategy at a company scaling toward $500M–$1B+ in ARR, with experience in a fast-paced organization
  • Proven ability to present to C-level audiences, communicating vision, positioning, differentiators, competitive strengths, customer segment value propositions, and market trends
  • Natural leadership ability; knows how to balance passion, empathy, and grit to build a culture that is accountable, performance-driven, and motivated by opportunity
  • Strong collaboration skills and relationship-building credibility across all levels and functions, including Engineering, Sales, and Revenue Operations
