As a Program Manager in the Chase Ultimate Rewards team, you will lead high-visibility and cross-functional programs that shape the future of our rewards products. You will collaborate with diverse teams and partners to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals. Your role is pivotal in driving success across all regions, fostering strong relationships, and enhancing our program management strategy. Together, we will create exceptional experiences for our customers and redefine the rewards landscape.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage integrated product delivery plans of your assigned area, working effectively at all levels and providing progress communications to stakeholders on a regular basis. Partners with Product Owners (POs), Area Product Owners (APOs), Agility Leads, and Designers to confirm impacts and scope across teams.
  • Manage product roadmap to align to the product budget and ensuring team availability across teams. Maintains a deep knowledge of area product vision, strategy, roadmap, technical and operational
  • Focus on risk and controls and manage dependencies, including inside and outside of product area
  • Monitor Jira hygiene and enforces Jira standards and support the Agility Lead in driving continuous improvement across the team in order to drive efficiencies and improve the overall effectiveness of agile
  • Track IT and non-IT work, release Management and communication, and Proactive identification & management of issues. Manage and track all high priority commitments, deadlines and cross team dependencies
  • Establish best practices, innovate approaches to Program Management, building a continuous improvement model

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management or Product Delivery Management across multiple technologies and functions. Ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple efforts, managing resources and addressing issues in a timely manner ensuring least impact on timelines and overall risk; organized, structured work style. Proven ability to manage a team through ambiguity typical of a large-scale business initiative and define path forward.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills; must be able to communicate progress and issues to the team and stakeholders regularly, thoroughly, and clearly throughout the process, up and down the chain of command.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences and prepare summaries for executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong inter-personal skills to inspire/motivate the team and to instill confidence and trust within the business, operations, and technology teams as applicable
  • Proven leader such that all participating and impacted groups have confidence and trust that the program/project is being well-managed and will meet its deliverables in a timely manner
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods; stakeholder management, risk management and operations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Proficient knowledge of data analytics
  • Proficient or Expert skill level utilizing JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience with PI planning
