**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Vice President, POM Product Management is a pivotal role within BNY, responsible for driving product strategy and development within the Product Management function. This position aligns with BNY's strategic pillars by fostering innovation and enhancing client service through effective product lifecycle management. As an Individual Contributor, the Vice President plays a crucial role in ensuring that product offerings meet market demands and client expectations, while upholding BNY's principles of integrity, collaboration, and accountability. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Lead the development and execution of product strategies by leveraging industry expertise and market insights to enhance product offerings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement by demonstrating effective stakeholder management. - Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining robust product governance and risk management practices. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to promote product adoption and client satisfaction. - Provide thought leadership and guidance on product management best practices to support the development of the product management function. **EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. - Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred. **EXPERIENCE:** - Typically 5-8 years of experience. **SKILLS:** - Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive product innovation and market competitiveness. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. - Proficient in product lifecycle management and governance to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting. 

    Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
