Role Overview

The Vice President of Marketing will define and lead Technosylva’s global marketing strategy. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will own brand positioning, go-to-market strategy, demand generation, and execution of customer engagement initiatives that accelerate growth and strengthen Technosylva’s leadership in wildfire risk mitigation.

This role requires a seasoned SaaS marketing leader who combines strategic, creative vision with hands-on execution. You’ll bring a deep understanding of B2B enterprise marketing, the ability to scale marketing operations globally, and a passion for shaping how technology can protect people, property, and the environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business growth goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership on market positioning, product strategy, and competitive differentiation.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team across brand, product, demand generation, and communications.

Brand & Thought Leadership

  • Elevate Technosylva’s brand as the trusted global leader in wildfire risk mitigation.
  • Drive thought leadership content, storytelling, and campaigns that showcase our fire science expertise and customer impact.
  • Establish Technosylva’s voice in industry forums, media, and digital channels, competitively winning share of voice and brand recognition against a crowded field of recent fire and climate-adjacent entrants..

Go-to-Market & Demand Generation

  • Oversee a large and widely varied schedule of industry events designed to position our market and thought leadership and to generate strong engagement with prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop multi-channel demand generation programs that drive qualified pipeline for sales.
  • Partner with sales on account-based marketing strategies for utilities, government agencies, and enterprise partners.
  • Implement marketing analytics to measure ROI and continually optimize campaigns.

Product & Customer Marketing

  • Lead product marketing to ensure clear value messaging and differentiation in the marketplace.
  • Partner with Product Management to craft launch strategies and enable successful adoption of new features.
  • Build customer advocacy programs and success stories that highlight Technosylva’s value.

Team & Operations

  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class marketing team.
  • Establish scalable processes, technology, and metrics to drive efficiency and accountability.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to maximize impact.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Proven track record of building and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable growth.
  • Deep experience in demand generation, product marketing, and brand leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B enterprise marketing for regulated industries (utilities, government, critical infrastructure a plus).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to translate complex technology into compelling narratives.
  • Experience working in growth-stage, PE-backed, or global expansion environments preferred.
  • Passion for mission-driven work, resilience, and climate technology is a strong plus.
