Risepoint is an education technology company that provides world-class support and trusted expertise to more than 100 universities and colleges. We primarily work with regional universities, helping them develop and grow their high-ROI, workforce-focused online degree programs in critical areas such as nursing, teaching, business, and public service. Risepoint is dedicated to increasing access to affordable education so that more students, especially working adults, can improve their careers and meet employer and community needs.

The Impact You Will Make

This is a transformational executive leadership opportunity. As VP of Marketing Creative and Operations, you will evolve Risepoint’s creative studio into a high-performance, AI-enabled Content House — reshaping how the company builds, operates, and scales brand and content across an 80+ partner portfolio. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of 50+ and serve as a key voice at the senior leadership table. This leader reports to the SVP of Channels Marketing and partners closely with senior leaders across Paid, DX, Lifecycle, and Field Marketing.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

• Sets enterprise-level brand and content strategy, then builds the organization to execute it

• Transforms creative organizations into modern, AI-powered content studios at scale

• Thinks in content systems and platforms, not one-off campaigns

• Brings the operational command to manage capacity, implement tools, and build scalable workflows across a 50+ person organization

• Connects creative output directly to enrollment outcomes, CAC reduction, and partner performance

1. Department Strategy & Organizational Vision

• Define and own the multi-year strategic vision for Marketing Creative and Operations, aligned to Risepoint’s growth objectives and partner success metrics

• Lead the transformation of the creative function into a high-performing Content House: clear structure, governance, velocity, and measurable impact

• Establish the operating model, governance framework, and decision-making principles that allow a 50-person team to move with speed and quality

• Serve as executive sponsor for AI integration — embedding intelligent tooling into video, copy, design, and workflow as a strategic default, not an experiment • Champion implementation and usage of CMP and DAM platform investments

2. Content Strategy & the Content Machine

• Own an integrated content strategy across all formats and channels, aligned to the student enrollment journey from awareness through decision

• Build a modular, scalable content system enabling meaningful personalization across 80+ partners without rebuilding from scratch

• Establish editorial standards, taxonomies, and brand voice frameworks that balance partner differentiation with operational efficiency

• Oversee the full video spectrum: from high-production partner storytelling to AI-assisted, performance-optimized content

• Ensure all content is performance-driven, search-optimized, and built in partnership with SEO/GEO, Paid Media, Lifecycle and Field Marketing

3. Partner Brand & Creative Strategy

• Develop partner-specific brand platforms, messaging architectures, and campaign strategies that authentically differentiate universities and drive enrollment

• Guide creative direction at the portfolio level: ensuring work is on-brand, compelling, and performance-focused at scale

4. Operational Excellence & Delivery at Scale

• Lead and continuously evolve the creative project management function: intake, prioritization, scoping, and delivery across a high-volume studio

• Build and maintain a capacity model tied to growth targets, with clear visibility into resourcing thresholds and outsourcing decisions

• Drive cross-functional workflows that protect quality, speed, and partner satisfaction

• Own performance dashboards: cycle time, rework rate, and throughput

• Lead new partner and program launches as a senior operational and creative executive

• Continuously evaluate and adopt tools and AI capabilities that meaningfully improve throughput and quality

5. Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Build, lead, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of 50 — designers, writers, content strategists, video editors, project managers, and creative operations leaders

• Define clear organizational structure, career paths, and growth opportunities that attract and retain top creative and operational talent

• Develop direct reports into senior leaders capable of running significant functions independently

6. Vendor & Partner Ecosystem

• Define and manage the outsourcing model for incremental capacity: agency partners, freelance networks, and production vendors

• Build a partner ecosystem that extends the team’s capabilities without compromising brand standards

7. Budget, Performance & Executive Accountability

• Provide executive-level reporting on team performance, impact, and strategic progress to SVP and C-suite stakeholders

• Advocate for resources, headcount, and tools when data and strategic rationale support the investment

What Success Looks Like

• A fully operating Content House model within the first 12 months: defined structure, governance, workflows, and measurable output velocity

• AI tooling embedded as standard capability across creative, copy, and video production — not a pilot

• Modular content system live and serving 80+ partners with meaningful personalization

• Direct line of sight from creative output to enrollment metrics, CAC reduction, and partner performance

• A team of senior leaders developed and capable of running their functions independently How Impact Will be Measured

• Studio throughput and cycle time reduction year-over-year

• Rework rate and quality scores across partner deliverables

• Partner satisfaction with creative output (survey-based)

• Enrollment and CAC performance attributed to creative channels

• AI-enabled capacity gains versus headcount cost

• Team retention and internal promotion rates

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Experience That Matters Most

• 15+ years of progressive experience in integrated marketing or brand management

• 7+ years in senior executive leadership overseeing both creative strategy and creative operations at scale

• Proven track record leading and developing teams of 40–60+ across multidisciplinary functions

• Demonstrated success defining enterprise-level strategy and transforming how large organizations operate

• Experience driving organizational transformation: operating model redesign, AI integration, and workflow modernization

• Deep expertise in brand strategy, messaging architecture, and integrated content strategy across multiple brands or partners

• Proven ability to build and operationalize modular content systems at scale

• Experience managing significant budgets and connecting creative investments to measurable business outcomes

• Proficiency in Workfront or comparable enterprise project management platforms

• Background in performance marketing environments where creative is directly tied to enrollment or acquisition metrics

Experience That’s Great to Have

• Experience in EdTech, higher education, or a multi-partner/franchise marketing environment

• Hands-on familiarity with AI creative tools (generative image, video, and copy) • Experience standing up a Content Management Platform (CMP) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) system at scale
