Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial Vice President, Market Access to build and lead the company's U.S. Market Access organization as we prepare for the anticipated launch of vidofludimus calcium for the treatment of relapsing multiple sclerosis (RMS). The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the multiple sclerosis marketplace, established relationships across national and regional payers, specialty pharmacies, and key health systems, and a proven track record of building high-performing Market Access organizations in preparation for launch.

You must be a highly strategic leader who has successfully led one or more multiple sclerosis product launches and understands how payer strategy, pricing, reimbursement, contracting, distribution, and field market access capabilities work together to maximize patient access and commercial success. As a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, you will help shape Immunic's overall commercialization strategy while building a best-in-class Market Access organization capable of supporting long-term commercial growth.
Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. Market Access strategy and organization build for vidofludimus calcium's launch, covering pricing, contracting, reimbursement, and distribution

  • Develop integrated access strategies spanning Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DoD, and other government channels

  • Own national payer strategy, negotiating with health plans, PBMs, IDNs, health systems, and specialty pharmacies

  • Build payer value propositions using clinical, economic, and real-world evidence to drive favorable formulary coverage

  • Set pricing strategy, gross-to-net assumptions, and specialty pharmacy/trade/distribution frameworks, ensuring launch-ready operations

  • Partner with Medical Affairs/HEOR on payer evidence strategy, AMCP dossiers, and value communication; support post-launch evidence generation

  • Serve on Commercial Leadership Team, coordinating with Marketing, Sales, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, Legal, and Supply Chain on launch readiness

  • Design and build the Market Access org structure, capabilities, and metrics across Payer Strategy, Marketing, Pricing/Contracting, Trade, Analytics, and Excellence functions

  • Recruit and lead a field Market Access team: National, Federal, and Regional Account Managers plus Field Reimbursement Managers

  • Set field deployment strategy (territories, hiring, training, incentives) and ensure tight collaboration with Sales and Medical Affairs to maximize adoption

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PharmD, MPH, or other advanced degree preferred.

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

  • Demonstrated success leading U.S. Market Access organizations for specialty pharmaceutical products.

  • Direct experience leading the U.S. Market Access strategy for one or more multiple sclerosis product launches is strongly preferred.

  • Candidates who have played a significant leadership role in the commercialization of successful MS therapies will be strongly favored.

  • Deep understanding of the competitive dynamics, payer landscape, specialty pharmacy networks, treatment centers, and reimbursement environment within multiple sclerosis as well as negotiating with commercial payers, PBMs, Medicare Part D plans, federal healthcare systems, specialty pharmacies, and integrated health systems.

  • Demonstrated success building and leading field-based Market Access organizations; experience building commercial infrastructure within an emerging biotechnology company or first-launch organization strongly preferred.
