In this role, you will:
- Manage overall asset management of an assigned portfolio of GSE Select Client commercial real estate loans consisting of Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac/CME multifamily loans
- Review and research complex, multifaceted, large scale, and long-term business challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring exceptional understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- Serve as the primary relationship contact for the Borrower/ property management agent, providing customer service, first-line management and due diligence of the loan portfolio in compliance with investor requirements
- Asset Management functions include monitoring, analyzing, and reporting property level operating performance, risk ratings, performing property physical inspections/assessment of on-site management staff/local market conditions, watchlist monitoring, and processing of lender consents

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years demonstrating a high-level skill set that encompasses financial analysis, real estate and property management operations, market knowledge, knowledge of commercial or multi-family mortgage and legal documents, and credit risk analysis
- Experience with Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac multifamily asset management technology tools
- Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
- Familiarity with highly structured loan transactions, preferably credit facilities that feature substitution and release provisions
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of credit and income producing real estate
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand complex commercial real estate loan documentation and securitization documents, including pooling and servicing agreements and related documentation
- Exposure to multifamily real estate development, property management and/or underwriting
- Ability to multi-task, achieve tight timeframes, and stay organized
- Ability to travel as needed
- Willingness to work on-site in accordance with current office requirements
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
