Job Description:

The Role

Come lead a highly collaborative marketing team aimed at reaching and engaging Fidelity’s institutional investor clients.

As the Segment Marketing lead, you are responsible for leading the development and execution of marketing strategies for the Institutional Client Group (ICG). To be successful, you will collaborate with business leaders and leverage your subject matter expertise to establish marketing strategies that directly align with key business priorities including the development of the annual marketing plan and oversee an omni-channel marketing program targeting the institutional investor market.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic role with opportunities to collaborate across many parts of the Fidelity Institutional and Fidelity Asset Management organizations.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

The Vice President of Segment Marketing leads a team that is focused on developing and executing against the segment marketing plan for the Institutional Client Group.  The role requires establishing ongoing working relationships with leaders across the sales and relationship management team as well as marketing peers and cross functional business partners to ensure successful delivery of marketing programs and messaging alignment.

In this role, you will bring your deep expertise in the institutional marketplace to bear to craft impactful marketing strategies aligned to business goals and provide regular updates on marketing’s impact in support those goals.

You will work across the team to align segment priorities with paid media, events, communications and thought leadership, providing clear direction and oversight to segment marketers and project managers. You will connect the dots across the Fidelity organization, considerate of opportunities and needs in all major channels and maintain an open and collaborative approach to work while driving a test and learn approach.

Additionally, you have:

  • Experience proactively communicating progress updates to key stakeholders, surfacing potential obstacles and assisting in developing creative solutions

  • Curiosity to follow Marketing trends and surface creative new ideas to the team

  • Thoughtful approach to leadership, encouraging a culture of learning, mobility, and smart risk-taking

  • Ability to move quickly and maintain clear-headedness under pressure; enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment

  • Series 7 and 24 licenses (or willingness to acquire within 6 months after starting role)

The Team

The Institutional Segment and Solutions Marketing team is directly aligned with key business segments (in this case the Institutional Investor segment). This team develops and delivers relevant, differentiated and client centric B2B marketing programs that propel Fidelity Institutional strategic product and solution focus areas by driving prospect engagement and client adoption.

Note: Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000-258,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
