VP, Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning

The Role

The VP of Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning is responsible for managing a team of associates that work cross-functionally to develop and execute on the launch strategy for new features and offerings from Fidelity Digital Assets. A successful candidate for this role has a deep understanding of complex business dynamics and keen attention to detail, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing a team of associates. Critical skills include the ability to synthesize information from key partners including Product Strategy, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Customer Service, and Marketing into clearly documented client journeys, business enablement workflows, positioning strategies, launch plans and timelines, contingency frameworks, and client messaging.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Go-to-Market Planning, the VP will lead a team of skilled GTM associates, represent GTM in cross-functional forums, and have the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership. Fidelity Digital Assets® is a growth business, so comfort with varying pace of work, shifting with the business and market needs, and operating with a high degree of ambiguity is required.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

An experienced people manager who is able to oversee multiple concurrent projects and coach associates to meet a high bar. A client service and risk management-minded strategist and planner who uses data and insights to build and implement GTM plans and is skilled at navigating cross-functional, cross-business unit relationships. A strong communicator able to build clear business narratives and client engagement and field enablement strategies, and distill complex concepts and process flows for multiple audiences.

  • Field enablement, business planning, program management, or product marketing experience required. Institutional background or experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team responsible for a large portfolio of concurrent projects and cross-functional workstreams, ensuring that dependencies and points of integration across the business are accounted and planned for.
  • Flexibility in thinking and temperament, including the ability to get up to speed quickly and problem solve as needed across a variety of projects.
  • Detail-oriented program management skillset, including ability to seek efficiency and influence adoption of new frameworks for the purpose of tracking and alignment.
  • Ability to seamlessly switch between big picture and more tactical thinking, identify business and reputational risks that need to be considered in planning, and go deep on discovery with functional SMEs.
  • Confident in driving senior-level conversations that progress integrated planning and enable other teams to advance work in their respective areas.

As a key part of the product delivery cycle, the Go-to-Market & Strategic Planning team collaborates deeply with Fidelity Digital Assets’ product, operations, sales, and service teams to ensure business readiness for the rollout of new or enhanced capabilities and key cross-business initiatives. Fidelity Digital Assets® is a subsidiary of Fidelity Investments dedicated to building products and services that help institutional and retail investors access digital asset markets.
