PTC is seeking an accomplished and results-driven Vice President of Global Inside Sales to lead our worldwide inside sales organization. Reporting to our Head of GTM Strategy & Execution, this leader will design and execute a high-impact strategy for demand generation, pipeline acceleration, net new bookings and revenue conversion across all global regions and product lines. 

 

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in SaaS inside sales and business development, a proven ability to scale high-performing teams, and a track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable growth through operational excellence. This role is pivotal in unifying PTC’s inside sales efforts, strengthening collaboration with marketing, field and channel sales teams, and accelerating our subscription ARR in a rapidly evolving market. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Strategy & Execution: Lead and execute the global business development and inside sales strategy, ensuring alignment with PTC’s GTM priorities and marketing and regional field sales targets. 

  • Demand Generation & Pipeline: Drive scalable programs to identify, engage, qualify, and convert opportunities across all segments to achieve and exceed pipeline plans. 

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee forecasting, pipeline health, territory optimization, and performance analytics to ensure predictable results. 

  • Talent and Culture Development: Build and coach a world-class inside sales team, cultivate and evolve a high-performance culture across the globe; identify and develop future PTC leaders while fostering accountability and enabling team success. 

  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Channel, Enablement, and Product organizations to create a seamless prospect and customer experience. 

  • Innovation: Leverage data, analytics, and modern sales technology (e.g., Salesforce, Clari, SalesLoft, etc) to optimize conversion rates and scale best practices globally. 

  • Incentives & Recognition: Shape and manage inside sales incentive programs and contests that drive performance and align with corporate goals.

Required Experience 

  • 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including 7+ years leading large-scale inside sales organizations in a SaaS or enterprise software environment. 

  • Proven success driving pipeline creation, conversion, and sales revenue growth in global markets. 

  • Expertise in building and developing geographically dispersed teams. 

  • Deep familiarity with sales enablement, analytics, and modern sales technology stacks. 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
