The Role

The Head of FDA Finance leads the Finance organization supporting Fidelity Digital Assets, a multi-entity, multijurisdictional digital asset business operating within a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. As a key member of the FDA leadership team, this role is accountable for all aspects of financial management across FDA’s business. 

The Head of FDA Finance has responsibility for Business Finance and FP&A, Treasury and Capital, Regulatory Finance and Controls, Data, Reporting and Strategic Insights. This role partners closely with FDA senior leaders, Enterprise Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Treasury, and Accounting to ensure strong financial stewardship, regulatory readiness, scalable operating models, and datadriven decision support as the business grows. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 

  • 20 plus years of progressive finance leadership experience in regulated businesses. 

  • Deep expertise in FP&A, regulatory finance, capital and liquidity management. 

  • Experience in digital assets, capital markets, or financial services. 

  • Experience working directly with external regulators, auditors, and boards preferred. 

  • Strong relationshipbuilding and influencing skills across senior leadership and regulators. 

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity. 

  • Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills. 

  • Balance of analytical rigor and sound judgment. 

  • Proven experience leading highperforming finance teams. 

  • Regulatory confidence and financial transparency in a complex digital asset environment.

  • Oversee treasury, capital adequacy, liquidity forecasting, stress testing, and winddown planning. 

  • Own regulatory finance engagement, controls, governance, and regulatory reporting across U.S. and international entities. 

  • Provide advanced financial insights to support product strategy, pricing, capacity planning, and business initiatives. 

  • Lead initiative governance, including business case evaluation and Finance delivery through implementation. 

  • Lead, develop, and scale the FDA Finance organization; oversee hiring, performance management, and talent development.

Fidelity Digital Assets operates as a global digital asset platform in an evolving industry. The Head of FDA Finance ensures financial strength, regulatory readiness, and strategic clarity as the firm scales and expands globally. 

Fidelity Brokerage Finance, a division of Fidelity Investments, is dedicated to partnering with our business leaders who focus on optimizing, modernizing, and personalizing the self-directed customer experience. The business is focused on providing an industry-leading offering to meet our retail customers’ evolving needs, including our trading capabilities, digital assets, digital user experience and client service teams.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
